OK Weartrode 62 Product Overview

This product data sheet provides information on OK Weartrode 62, a hardfacing electrode for protecting parts subjected to severe abrasion. It deposits a weld metal with high volume of fine carbides in a martensitic matrix. Applications include earth-drilling equipment, hammers, scrapers, knives, and conveyor screws. The electrode has a minimum AC open circuit voltage of 45V and can be used in all positions. It has a carbon content between 2.5-3.5% and contains 5.5-7.0% chromium and 4.5-5.5% vanadium.
