2. I have read all the IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES given overleaf of this admit card and I
undertake to abide by the same.
3. Multiple appearance / attendance in the examination by the candidate is not permitted for the same post. If
violation of the above is detected at any stage of the process, candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
All candidates are required to download and carefully read the Instructions given with the Admit Card and strictly
adhere to them. Candidates are suggested to verify the location of examination venue, well in advance.

General Instructions:

1. Please visit the site [Link] for latest updates.


2. Candidates are advised to verify the location of test venue, a day in advance so that they do not face any problem on the day of test.
3. The mode of the examination shall be in CBT (Computer Based Test). The candidates are provisionally permitted to appear for
examination as per the schedule. Issuance of the Admit Card does not mean that the candidate has been declared eligible for the
post. Admit Card will be collected from the candidates after the examination.
4. No candidate shall be permitted to enter after Gate Closing Time.
5. Please ensure to bring the print-out of this Admit Card to the Exam centre, failing which the candidate will not be allowed entry in
the examination centre.
6. In case photograph printed on admit card is not visible clearly in the specified location / not available, candidate should paste one
passport size photo (self-attested) on the admit card and bring one separate stamp size photograph and hand over to the invigilator
for pasting on the Attendance Sheet.
7. Candidates must carry Government issued Photo Identity proof in original, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to
appear in the examination. The credentials of the id proof must match with the admit card. In case the photo in the id card is not
clear then additional photo id in original is required to be produced. Valid photo Identity proofs are a Voter ID card, Passport, PAN
card, Driving Licence, Aadhaar card, Bank Passbook with Photo or any other Govt. issued ID Card. All other IDs/Photocopies of IDs
even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered valid ID Proof.
8. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as given in the detailed advertisement. After the online
examination, if it is found that the candidate does not meet eligibility criteria specified in the detailed advertisement, his/her
candidature will summarily be rejected irrespective of he/she qualify in the examination.
9. In view of the fact that multiple appearance / attendance in the examination is not permitted for the same post. If violation of the
above is detected at any stage of the process, candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.
10. No request for a change of examination centre will be entertained.
11. The candidate must report at the Examination Centre at the scheduled Reporting Time. Candidate entry will be closed 30 minutes
before the commencement of the examination and no canddaite will be allowed to enter in the examination hall after gate closing
time (i.e. 30 minutes before commencemnet of examiantion). On completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from
Invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised.
12. Candidate should ensure to sit on the seat allocated as per the seating plan and to sign on the Attendance Sheet against his/her Roll
No. He/she should also ensure that all the details are correctly recorded/filled on the Attendance Sheet at the time of signing it. The
presence of the candidate in the exam would be accepted only if his/her signature appears on the Physical Attendance Sheet
against his/her Roll Number and Biometric Attendance marked against his/ her Roll No. Hence candidate is required to mark
both the physical and biometric attendance mandatorily.
13. Candidate must carry: a) Print-out of the Admit Card along with the filled-in format of Self-Declaration (Undertaking) b) Govt. issued
Photo Id proof in original.
14. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit centre early for thorough checking.
15. Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.
16. Please note that the items listed below are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination Centre: Books, Notes, Bits Of Papers,
Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Pencil, Scale, Log Table, Writing Pad, Eraser, Cardboard, Electronics Devices, Watch, Wrist
Watch, Wallet, Goggles, Smart / Google Glasses, Handbag, Belt, Cap, Mobile Phones, Earphone, Microphones, Cameras, Headphones,
Pen-Drives, Pager, Bluetooth Device, Calculator, Debit/Credit Card, Electronic Pen/Scanners, Food and Beverage, Ear Buds, Any
Electronic Gadgets/Equipment, Bracelet, Any ornaments/metallic items and any other ITEMS WHICH COULD BE USED FOR UNFAIR
MEANS. If any candidate is found in possession of any item(s) as mentioned above inside the Examination Center will be considered
as indulging in unfair means and appropriate civil and/or criminal proceedings will be initiated against such candidate besides
cancellation of his/her candidature and may also be debarred for future examination(s). Further, if any candidate is found to have
indulged at any stage of the Examination in any of the malpractices /irregularities, using or in possession of such unauthorized
material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means, etc., his/her candidature shall summarily be
disqualified/rejected/cancelled.
17. It is further clarified that there shall be no arrangement at Examination Centre(s) for keeping the aforesaid items, mentioned at
point no. 10. If any item is brought by the candidate and the same is lost, neither the Centre nor NIELIT will be responsible for any
such loss. Candidates are, therefore, advised either not to carry the aforementioned items with them on the date of the examination
or to make their own arrangement for keeping such items outside the Examination Centre at their sole risk.
18. No candidate will be allowed to leave examination hall in last five minutes of exam. Such candidates shall remain seated till
completion of examination of last candidate of that batch. Candidate shall leave examination hall only after confirmation from
respective invigilator/ exam personnel.
19. Candidates should follow the instructions of the Invigilator/Centre Superintendent/Observers of the Examination Centre concerned.
Non-observance thereof shall result in disqualification/rejection of the candidature of defaulting candidate(s).
20. If any candidate is found in an inebriated state, he/she will not be allowed entry to the Exam Centre.
21. Candidate may have to undergo the process of extensive and compulsory frisking apart from the normal process of checking etc
before entering the Examination Centre.
22. The candidates have also been advised to refrain from obstructing the exam. “If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of
the exam or creating disturbances at the exam venue, the candidature of the candidates shall be summarily cancelled,”
23. Candidate must thoroughly read and follow the instructions which will appear on their respective Exam Panel before starting of the
examination.
24. Note: You may also be aware that in case the examination gets cancelled due to any unforeseen technical glitches, the Exam of such
candidates will be held on another scheduled date and location with a new set of the question paper. No Exam Fee shall be charged
to these candidates. However, the location of the Exam Centre may or may not be the same as where the earlier Exam was
scheduled.
