Macbeth: A Tragic Power Struggle

The witches tell Macbeth that he will become Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. Their prophecy comes true when Duncan names Macbeth the new Thane of Cawdor. Ambition grows in Macbeth's mind, and he plots with Lady Macbeth to murder Duncan. They succeed in framing Duncan's guards, and Macbeth becomes the new King. However, Macbeth's reign is filled with fear and paranoia as he commits more murders to hold onto his power. In the end, Macduff confronts and kills Macbeth, restoring order by making Malcolm the rightful King of Scotland.

MACBETH

*witches at the left of stage , stirring a cauldron and muttering*


witches : FAIR IS FOUL AND FOUL IS FAIR. HOVER THROUGH THE FOG AND FILTHY AIR
narrator : Ducan , the King of Scotland, hears the success in the battle led by his
nobelmen - macbeth and banquo -. He decides to present the honarable title of THE
THANE OF CAWDOR to macbet and sends messengers to inform macbeth about his new
honor.
*king ducan and ____________ and ______________ are gathered*
GAURDS : King Ducan. It is known that macbeth has won our kingdome a great honor by
winning the war against the rebels.
GAURD : On a sadder note. The thane of cawdor is confornted a traidor.
KING D : May this post arrive upon more capable hands. From now on Macbeth will
take the honor of being the thane of cawdor. May this messafe reach him immedietly
Narrator : whilst, the nobel men macbeth and banquo are travelling through the
forest after the battel when they encounter strange disformed creature.
WITCH 1 : A drum a drum
macbeth doth come
WITCH 2 : Banquo. Your decendents will be kings
WITCH 3 : Macbeth , you will be the thane of cawdor , Thane of glamis and the king
of scotland
WITCH 1 : you are lesser than macbeth, but greater
WITCH 2 : You will not be as happy as macbeth but much happier
WITCH 3 : All hail , macbeth and banquo
MACBETH : stay you imperfect creatures , tell me more , i charge thee speak
banquo : wither are they vanished
Narrator : the witches vanish but the messengers enter
M1 : Lord macbeth the thane of cawdor will be executed soom so the king has made
thee the thane.
Narrator : This message had brought a thought inside macbeth's mind wheather the
prophecy of the witches are indeed true not that he ever questioned it in the first
place.
Narrator : At the kingdome
DUCAN : O valiant cousin. worthy gentlemen. I am so pleased to announce that my son
malcome shall be my successor.
Narrator : This message seems to be the starting point of all the trouble as
macbeth considers honesty of the witches when the 2nd part includes macbeth being
the successor.
Narrator : Macbeth sends a letter to Lady macbeth
Narrator : At Lady macbeth's place
LM : *READES LETTER*
Narrator : upon reading the plan lady macbeth decided to make the prophecy come
true
Narrator : lady macbeth and macbeth atthe palace
Macbeth : I shall not kill the king I serve
LM : You [Link] beast was't then That made you break your enterprise to me?
When you durst do it, then you were a man. And to be more than what you were, you
would Be so much more the man. Yet do I fear thy nature;It is too full o’ the milk
of human kindness
Narrator : This accusation makes macbeth go on forward with the killing
*MACBETH KILLS DUCAN*
*LM SPIKES THE WINE F THE GAURDS*
LM : Hand the knife over
*LM FRAMES THE GAURDS*
Narrator : After some time
LM : Oh my oh my such sinfull things I see and must [Link] The Great king ducan is
only to be murdered in his bed ? Oh such distress.
Narrator : so to unfortunate muder of the king by the gaurds and due to the running
away of malcolm and donalbain. Macbeth finally becomes the king, mush to his lady's
glee.
Narrator : Macbeth and Lady macbeth were commited to pave a bloody path up to
power.
Narrator : One of which included killing banquo and fleance
*gaurds try try to kill banquo and fleance*
Narrator : whilst the duo of banquo and fleance runs away, macbeth is left feeling
guily all over again
Narrator : During Dinner
Macbeth : ahhhhhh Look the spectre of [Link] what have I done . I have -
LM : ENOUGH. Tonight's supper seems to disturbed by an unfortunate event. I rekon
it is best for you all to be dissmissed from the table and eat your supper in
solitute
*everyone leaves the tabke after bowing*
Narrator : Macbeth goes back to the witches for some reassurance
Narrator : *at the forest
Macbeth : Say again you imperfect creature. Tell me more for you have made me
succumb to power tell me some way to keep in in hand
Witch 1 : Beware macduff
Witch 2 : You shall not be harmed by any man born of a women
Witch 3 : You have nothing to fear until Birnam wood walks to your castel.
Witch 1 : I would suggest maybe not to lay your hands on macduff
Narrator : On the other side, macduff's entire family is being murdered.
Narrator : At lady macbeth's chamber
LM : I can't wash the blood and guilt from my poor little hand . out you damh spot
out i say
Narrator : Back to the castel court wheh macbeth enters the castel he is met with a
rather disturbing news
Gaurd : His majesty, It must be very silly of me but I am to inform you that the
woods is marching towards the castel.
Narrator : A infuriated macbeth prepares for the battel with macduff.
Narrator : He also recives a rathe disturbing news
LM's maid : My lord it appears Lady macbeth was found dead in her chamber and she
has supposedly killed herself.
Macbeth : I have no more control over whatever puppet show I am to play in . Life
is a mere game written by a fool. But for the last hope that I might win this game
I am going to battel with macduff.
Narrator : Meanwhile in the battel feild
Malcolm : My loyal troops, cut doen those branches and we'll disguise ourselves as
moving trees. OFCOUSE no one will be concern about moving forests as macbrth is
blind enough to not notice a whole forest marching towards him.
Narrator : Macbeth and macduff meet at the battel feild with their swords drawn
Macbeth : I will not fight thee For no man born of a women naturally can kill me.
Macduff : I am a blood child as I was ripped from the womb of my mother.
Narrator : So macbeth vows to fight macduff
*epic fight scene*
Narrator : but at the end, macduff win and shaves off the head of macbeth and
presents it to malcolm.
*At the same time the head of macbrth is sliced**idk how but tht is the plan*
Macduff : I present you the crown with its bearer's head
Malcolm : There shall be no honor greater than reciving this upon your hands.
Macduff : All hail king malcolm.
Narrator : malcolm was crown the king of scotland
Narrator : Life may be a play written by a fool as macbeth puts it but macbeth is
not
LM : And so we depart, all old style
*everyone bows one by one and raises in the same order so it looks so cool *
