High Performance Floorstanding Speaker System

Boston Acoustics® introduces five new VR® models. The VR1, VR2, and VR3 are floor-
standing speaker systems that deliver the kind of powerful, impressive sound usually
associated only with more expensive speakers. The high performance VRC and the VRX
are timbre-matched center channel and surround speakers that make a perfect comple-
ment to any of the VR floorstanding models in your home theater system.
POWERFUL IMPRESSIVE SOUND
A major attribute of the speakers design is their high sensitivity. They typically need less than
half of the amplifier power required by other designs in order to reach convincing theater-
like levels. Even at these high volumes, the VR loudspeakers retain amazingly high levels of clar-
ity and realism. All five Boston® VR models feature dual woofers for deep, authoritative bass
and low distortion. In each model, the woofers are separated by a precisely calculated dis-
tance resulting in a noticeable increase in clarity and detail.
HEAVILY BRACED MDF CABINETS
The cabinets have extensive internal bracing and are constructed of Medium Density
Fiberboard (MDF), chosen for its favorable acoustic characteristics. The result is superb struc-
tural integrity that eliminates the unwanted resonances and vibration that degrade the sound
of ordinary speakers.
