COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course aims to broaden the knowledge of the students on the Current
Issues in Philippine Education and its impact to the educational system. The course will deal on the
newest issues in education such as Education 2030, Inclusive and liberating Education, Positive
Discipline; The Last Mile School, K to 12 Implementation; current issues in education about the
development of students and faculty; current issues in education about the development of school,
family, & community connections and the other educational issues and concerns.
The students will comprehensively discuss the topics and proposed measures to mitigate the effects
of these education issues. Likewise, reflection will also be used to learn about the effects of these
educational issues and concerns.
