VII Rationale:
As a directive from the higher office to conduct school inset during the 5 days academic break
of teachers, The school heads prepare a matrix with an identified topic that really needs by the teachers
to foster their professional development, adapt to changes in the educational landscape, and ultimately improve
the quality of education provided to students. It is a strategic investment in the ongoing improvement of teaching
practices and the overall success of the educational institution. Different teachers may have varying strengths
and areas for improvement. Training programs can be tailored to address individual needs, allowing educators to
focus on specific areas that will have the most significant impact on their professional growth and effectiveness in
the classroom.
VIII Training Description
Memorandum DM – OUHRD)- 2024-0037 ( Guidelines on the conduct of the In- Service
Training of Teachers ( INSET) for School Year 2023-2024).Patong Elementary School will Conduct the
INSET School Training on January 26, 29, 30, 2024. This will be participated by the Teachers in the
said school.
Teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of students. Continuous
training provides opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills, stay updated on the latest
pedagogical approaches, and engage in ongoing professional development. This ensures that
educators are well-equipped to deliver high-quality instruction.
The field of education is dynamic, with new teaching methodologies, technologies, and
curricular changes emerging regularly. Training sessions enable teachers to adapt to these changes
effectively, fostering innovation in their teaching practices and ensuring that they remain relevant in an
ever-evolving educational landscape. The 3-day training sessions help teachers understand and
implement these reforms effectively and have been provided necessary learning and the development
needs.
IX. Objective/s:
1. Improve the individual`s level of awareness.
2. Appreciated the importance of school Inset program as a tool in improving pupils/students’ performance.

XI. Monitoring and Evaluation
The daily supervision of the activity will be monitored and evaluated by the District In- charge to
find out whether the standards and procedures set for instructional supervision were followed and the
instructional tools were used.
