Powering on and Initializing the Storage System
Power on the storage system.
The time required by the power-on process increases with the number of disks and disk enclosures. When
the power indicator on the controller enclosure stops blinking, the power-on process is complete.

Before powering on a storage system, ensure that all expansion cables have been
properly connected. Adjusting expansion cable connections after power-on may cause
the storage system to malfunction.

Correct power-on sequence:

1. Turn on the external power supplies for each disk enclosure and then each controller enclosure.
2. Press the power buttons on the controller enclosures .
3. Power on the switches.
4. Power on the application servers.
