2.1 The product is designed for women.  A woman can phone herself if she is in a
difficult situation and so pretend she has a call and get herself out of the problem.

2.2 Own opinion. 2 marks for reasonable discussion. (2)

3.1 Pink is meant to be a female colour and the advert is designed for women. (1)
3.2 Own opinion. The learner can say the colour is sexist and stereotyped, or not. (2)

4. A dog is meant to be a man’s best friend  and this phone is taking the dog’s place
as a woman’s best friend.  (2)
