Arguementive Essay

Writing an argumentative essay can be a challenging task that demands a combination of critical
thinking, research skills, and effective communication. The difficulty arises not only from the need to
present a compelling argument but also to anticipate and counter opposing viewpoints. Crafting a
well-structured essay requires a clear thesis statement, logical organization of ideas, and the ability to
provide solid evidence to support your claims.

One of the primary challenges is conducting thorough research to gather relevant information and
credible sources to strengthen your position. This process involves sifting through various
perspectives, evaluating the reliability of sources, and synthesizing information to build a robust case.

Additionally, constructing a coherent and persuasive argument requires careful attention to the
essay's structure. Each paragraph should contribute to the overall flow of ideas, maintaining a logical
progression that leads the reader to your conclusion. Balancing the introduction, body, and
conclusion while ensuring a smooth transition between paragraphs can be demanding.

Moreover, the challenge lies in acknowledging opposing viewpoints and effectively refuting them. A
successful argumentative essay acknowledges the complexity of the issue at hand and addresses
counterarguments with well-reasoned responses. Striking the right balance between assertiveness and
humility is key in maintaining the essay's credibility.

Lastly, mastering the art of persuasive language and rhetoric is crucial. Choosing the right words and
employing persuasive techniques can significantly impact the essay's effectiveness. Clarity and
precision in expression are paramount, ensuring that your ideas are not only compelling but also easily
comprehensible.

In conclusion, writing an argumentative essay demands a combination of research, organizational

skills, and persuasive writing techniques. It is a challenging process that requires time, dedication,
and a keen understanding of the topic. However, with careful planning and attention to detail, one
can navigate these challenges successfully.

Reflective Essay On Faith And Religion
Faith and religion are an uncomfortable topic for most, a treasured topic for some, and
incredibly life changing for others. My own faith has grown immensely over the years,
and it is something that has been so integral in my growth that I cannot shy away from
sharing it in abundance. God has revealed many things to me, one of which is that when
I stop living to glorify myself, and instead glorify Him with my actions, He will bless that.

It was a Saturday night, in the middle of a cold February. The year was 2011, and I
was a sophomore in high school. My face had been painted in layers of bright blues
and greys, my hair under a long, black wig that reached to my waist. My heart was
pounding, just like it did before every performance. However, it was never stage fright.
I loved the feeling of the hot, white spotlight, the hundreds of children sitting on the
edges of their seats. I cherished the feeling of excitement that welled up in my throat as
the overture swelled, the bass vibrating beneath my feet. I was in love with theater, and
I poured my heart and time into every performance we gave. This performance was no
exception. I was in a production of The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion, The Witch, and
The Wardrobe. After being cast as the female lead The White Witch I had spent hours of
dedicated preparation for the part.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is a beloved tale, but many do not know that it
is an allegory for the beliefs of the Christian faith. As a
The Laramie Project and Shakespeare
Artistic creations can be a means for the exploration of human attitudes, feelings and
behaviors. The performing arts are an example of an artistic media that can be utilized
in this way. For example, the use of theatre and film can be applied as way to explore
some of the human attitudes, feelings and behaviors that are related to topics such as
tolerance, acceptance, anger, hatred and also forgiveness. Two such performing arts
examples are The Laramie Project and Shakespeare as presented in the Secured Housing
Unit (SHU) at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF), a super maximum
security prison in the state of Indiana. These productions offer their creators and viewers
alike, the opportunity to learn much about the attitudes... Show more content on

My son died because of your ignorance and intolerance. I can t bring him back. But I
can do my best to see that this never, ever happens to another person or another family
again. Wavering from a desire for healing and feelings of anger, he followed with, You
robbed me of something very precious, and I will never forgive you for that. Although
Dennis Shepard struggled with feelings of anger and hatred, he was beginning the
process of healing. Regarding the SHU Shakespearian production, the writers decided
to rework the ending scenes of their version of Hamlet. The men in the SHU
determined that Hamlet, when faced with the choice to revenge or not, must choose
the latter because choosing vengeance could only result in his death or imprisonment.
The man in Cell E explained that, Shakespeare doesn t offer an alternative to the
violence. Is this the message we re trying to send society, particularly the youth? No
(Scott Douglass, 2007 p. 113.). The writers decided that Hamlet would give a speech
explaining an alternative way, I don t want to become what my father was. I don t want
to become what your father was. We ve got to break this cycle, man, the two of us, right
here and right now (Scott Douglass, 2007 p. 113.). The men in the SHU rewrote Hamlet
in such a way as to teach an alternative to retaliation, that of nonviolent social change.
Each production offered a unique lens with which one can observe the topics of hatred,
anger, tolerance and
Anabolic Steroids Should Be Banned Research Paper
There are many substances that are banned in the world of athletics. Almost no matter
what governing body you look at for a sports association the list of banned substances is
the same. The USADA, the NCAA, and WADA are the three largest organizations that I
have found and all of them bann the same substances. There list include, but are not
limited too stimulants, anabolic agents, beta blockers, diuretics and other masking
agents, growth factors, street drugs, and anything chemically related to items on the list.
It also continued into procedures that it considered illegal which included blooddoping,
gene doping, local anesthetics, and beta 2 agonists ( 2016 17 NCAA Banned Drug List

With athletes these aren t really viewed as performance enhancers but are illegal, so
are still placed on the banned substance list. The common effects of almost any street
drug is it gives a feeling of euphoria, and also makes that person feel invincible, which
are the side effects that make people like them. They also cause nausea and vomiting,
the failure to recognize injury, and eventually your body develops a dependence on
them. One of the specific street drugs I m gonna mention is marijuana. While it s not
viewed as a hard drug it still has side effects that people can either view as fun or
dangerous. These side effects impair short term memory, increased heart rate, difficulty
concentrating, and slowed reflexes. It also causes mood swings and impairs
comprehensive thinking ( Effects of Performance Enhancers 2014). These side effects
happen very quickly due to how marijuana is usually introduced to a person system. The
reason it acts so quickly is explained on the National Institute on Drug Abuse website,
When a person smokes marijuana, THC quickly passes from the lungs into the
bloodstream. The blood carries the chemical to the brain and other organs throughout the

There are many topics, which are discussed in the lecture that enhanced my thinking
regarding the qualities for an effective leader. The different approaches made me know
about how different leaders are. Leaders are the people who should have a good
employee relationship to make the work flow, smooth and end in success. Leaders are the
people who have to change their nature and pattern according to the work environment.

The things, which I learned from leadership theories, are.

Every leader should possess certain essential characteristics. Leader should know
more about himself and time to time he should seek self development process to make
him better with the time. Leaders should take responsibilities for his own action and
be aware of it. Leaders should be good at decision making, which suits the situation
they are in. one of the import skill any leader should have is the communication skill
and must deal with all the divisions of employees in good manner. Good leaders are the
ones who understand the task clearly and supervise it until it s accomplished. Leaders
should have the capacity to train employees as a team and develop a good team spirit.
Leaders are the people who utilize entire resources of his organization to produce
powerful outcome.

Managing A Construction Project Is Jobsite Safety
Introduction

The Construction sector is one of the largest industries in the globe and brings in trillion
dollars in annual revenue. Don t believe it? Look around you, and open your eyes to the
built environment. Just about anything directly correlates to a construction firm, or a
construction manager. From your home, to your local park, from from your car, to your
cell phone, all these things wouldn t be there if it weren t for the project manager who
took a set of plans, and brought them to life. When someone notices a dynamic structure,
or an aesthetic building, they should say, Wow, who built that? instead of asking, Who
designed that? While an architect can design something captivating on paper, the real
captivation comes from the challenge of the physical construction itself.

Along with this challenge comes many difficulties. This includes estimating, planning,
budgeting, and scheduling, to name a few. However, the most important factor of
managing a construction project is jobsite safety. Unseen by many people, jobsite safety
is determinate to the completion of the construction project, while delivering the highest
satisfaction to the owner, and doing so all under budget. Modern day projects brings
multiple risks to owners and contractors when they face new construction. Owner s must
be concerned with potential risks to their employees, tenants, and property while also
being concerned with the risk carried by the construction manager.

External Forces In My Hero Academia, By Izuku Midoriya
There are moments in one s life that can be attributed to external factors or internal
factors, or a mixture of both. However, people have a tendency to reason either external
forces or internal forces more than the other for outcomes. Julian Rotter called this
dimension locus of control, the extent to which people will perceive outcomes as
internally controllable or externally controlled (Myers, 2013, p. 57). If a person
attributes outcomes to mostly his or her own control, he or she is said to have an internal
locus of control; if a person attributes outcomes to mostly external forces, the person is
said to have an external locus of control. In the anime, My Hero Academia, the main
character, Izuku Midoriya, displays primarily the external locus of control. The main
idea behind the anime is that Izuku is living in a world full of... Show more content on

His internal locus of control is what moves him to become the greatest hero in the first
place despite the biggest barrier of not having a quirk. The odds are definitely against
him, for most individuals in this anime world, people are born with their quirk and it
develops by the age of four. This means that all of these people already have practice
and control over their quirk and are ready to put it to use in U.A. High School; U.A.
High School is the school that numerous successful heroes have graduated from and
primarily a hero school. When Izuku shares that he wishes to take the exam to enter this
school he is laughed at and ridiculed by his classmates. The incidents with his classmates,
upsets him but he still has the mindset to follow his dream no matter what. Although the
external factor of All Might is an extreme contribution to Izuku s success, it is
undoubtedly Izuku s own willpower and internal and physical strength that leads him on
