CBEAloha: BSAIS Socialization Day 2023

The CollSC officers of the CSU-SM CBEA hosted a socialization event called "CBEAloha: A Day of socialization and fun" on October 10, 2023. The event included performances by students, games, dancing, and an awards ceremony to recognize best dressed students. The goal was to allow BSAIS students to relax and socialize outside of their normal academic activities. Over 100 students and faculty participated in dancing, games, and enjoying each other's company in a fun, stress-free environment.

NARRATIVE REPORT

Activity: CBEAloha! A day of socialization and fun.


Date: October 10, 2023

On October 10, 2023, at 1:30 pm the CollSC officers conducted a SOCIALIZATION

DAY for the BSAIS students and CSU-SM CBEA Faculty Members entitling CBEAloha: A Day

of socialization and fun. Indeed, the said program was living proof that BSAIS are not just for

journal transaction in business but also a joyful individual who loves to relive stressful events.

Starting from the invocation was led by the CollSC Secretary which is Vicma Cacatian as

she thanked God and asked for guidance in the flow of the program and allowed us to continue

the event for fun and enjoyment. As followed by the CollSC Board Member Aprille Rose Ann

ALEGADO, as she beat the national anthem for the participants.

After this, the dean of the college shared his thoughts on the event by executing his

opening remarks, with great pride and joy with the event hosted by the CollSC officers together

with their CollSC adviser.

To entertain the students, Ms. Angelica Academia sang her favorite song with her

melodic and humming sounds on stage. While the students get swayed by her chosen song as

everyone can relate unto.

For the message, Mr. Francisco Alegado was represented by Mr. Verlino Baddu.

Covering his message was applause to CBEA officers for the ideas of the theme.

Also, without the participation of the BSAIS Students, it won’t showcase fun. So, they

danced with their respective dance that was drawn by their CollSC Mayors in each section. The

music played during their dance was Macarena (BSAIS 1A), Pearly Shells or Tiny Bubbles

(BSAIS 1B), Pate-Pate (BSAIS 2A), We Know the Way (BSAIS 2B), Waka-waka (BSAIS 3A),

and HELE MELE NO LILO (BSAIS 3B). Sadly, the senior students were unable to join the

socialization day due to their internship program.


After they dance, it's their time to choose the best outfit of that day to compete for the

different awards. These are the following together with the awarded students: Best Dress Award

(Male: Leonard Labis and Female: Vicma Cacatian), Star of the Day (Male: Lenuel John

Melitante and Female: Angel Lobos), Darling of the Crowd (Male: Jerick Pascual and Female:

Xayza Kate Taguba), and for the Face of the Day (Male: Eugene James Pacis and Female: Janine

Bacud).

Then, for more fun and enjoyment the students were eager to participate in games and

dance to all the different music played mostly for enjoyment kinds of music by the Filipinos

(budots).

To express heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, CSU-SM CBEA CollSC officers,

CSU-SM CBEA faculty members, BSAIS students, and all individuals who participated and

made the program successful was thanked by the CollSC Governor Mr. Jayson James Abuan

Inay.

Furthermore, Ms. Jessica Calban made the flow of the program successful as she graced

the stage in her Master of Ceremony task.
