KINETIC
ENERGY?
Kinetic energy is the energy an object possesses due to its
motion. It depends on two factors: the object's mass and its
speed. The heavier and faster an object is, the more kinetic
energy it has.
CONCEPT OF
KINETIC TILES
The system we use to transform kinetic
energy is an electromechanical one. This
system can be found inside each tile. Our
sustainable kinetic floor tiles are
designed to slightly flex when
pedestrians are stepping on them. With
the help of the electromechanical
system, the vertical movement of a
footstep is transformed into a rotating
movement.
This then drives a generator which leads
to an energy output of up to 35 volt per
module of sustained output. Power
output for continuous stepping by a
person lies between 1 and 10W nominal
output.
SUSTAINIBILITY
Kinetic tiles are an environmentally friendly alternative to the
leading method of burning fossil fuels, which release carbon
dioxide, the leading greenhouse gas and contributor to global
warming. In large crowded cities , there are many possible places
where the kinetic tiles tiles can be placed, making many potential
locations where electricity can be generated.

Kinetic tiles are made up of all sustainable material the


top part is made up of recycled rubber and steel and the
bottom part is made up of 80% recycled material.

Using these tiles in malls and shopping
centers will create a lot of energy will
suffice the electricity consumed by the
majority of the electric appliances in
the mall.

Footpaths are often a very busy place
and is crowded with pedestrians
installing these tiles on it will be very
beneficial and will suffice the energy
