A. Materials:
○ a literary selection you’ve read or plan on reading

B. Procedure:
According to the Manila Times, Reading is a dying art. However, there are
different ways to revive it. As a student who likes or doesn’t like reading, what
could be a literary selection that you know may encourage you and other
students to appreciate or start reading?

1. Choose a literary selection that you have read or you’ve always wanted to
read. This is your chance to read it. It can be any of the following:
● Novel
● Fable
● Legend
● Drama (Comedy/Tragedy/History)
` 2. Fill out the form with the basic details: title and author/s.
3. Choose ONE main theme from the selection.
4. Add three (3) details from the story that reflects the theme. Details can be
from the plot, characters, dialogues, style, or narrative.
5. Add the lesson/message that the author wants to imply. After that, you must
explain how other students or readers will benefit from the literature. Discuss
how it can help others to start or continue reading.
