Teaching Method:
A combination of teaching methods will be used. Interactive lecturing and small group
discussions will be used.
Attendance and Course Grade:
An attendance of 80% is mandatory in this class. However, you are expected to attend the class
regularly. In serious and unavoidable circumstances, you are expected to let me know through
email via CR or personally that you will not be able to attend the class. You will be responsible
to make up for the content/ concepts that you missed.
Assignments will be discussed in advance. However, quizzes may be taken unannounced.
Course grade will be determined as follows:
Written assignments/ quizzes – 15%
Presentations and class participation – 10%
Mid Term Exam – 25%
Final exam – 50%
Assignments MUST be completed and submitted on assigned day and time 12:00 am. Late
submissions may not be scored or marks deducted for late submission.
