DEFINITIONS: “Service” means the respective “Fire and Emergency "maintained by the Municipality/States / Govt, of india and its Undertakings. 3. SPECIFICATION OF UNIFORM: . The uniform to be worn by personnel of the “Fire and Emergency Services" shall be specified in the schedule to these rules (hereinafter referred to as “THE UNIFORM") provided that the person concemed is a Fire and Emergency Service Personnel 4. SUPPLY OF UNIFORM: Every Fire and Emergency Service Personnel shall, on appointment thereto, will ocive free supply of Uniform, as per schedule to these rules, followed by further issue of such atticles which require replacement annually or otherwise as decided. The Authority may inv lieu of free supply of uniform articles give equivalent amount of cash. 5. (b) In winter: - White or any colour decided by different services Full “T- Shirt” with Setvice Logo (front right side),and Arm monogram on left arm, White Full lower, white canvas shoes, white Shocks. 8, WEARING OF UNIFORMS: 8.1 All Service Personnel must wear the new uniform once these rules come in to force. 8.2 All Fire and Emergency Service Personnel should stitch their (summer and Winter) Uniform like CPMF, [Link] India) and wear as per various occasion mentioned in Para- 6. HH: ERERGENVUUUHHOUGHUUEEUTVEUFGFVHVOUFTFTUFVUGTHHOTUGUUTUVTUUTes 8.3 All Service Personnel should be wearing the uniform according to following schedul: or State Govt. Notification:- (a) Summer: - 1" March to'15" November. (b) Winter: - 16" November to 28" February. 9. UPKEEP & REPAIRS OF UNIFORM: 9.4 Fire and Emergency Service Personnel are responsible for cleaning and proper up-keop ol their individual uniforms. 9:2 When the uniform is worn, care shall be taken that it fits well, neat and clean, in good condition, properly pressed, serviceable and properly fastened. 9.3 Metallic devices and leather will be properly polished. Shift/ Duty /C shall inspect the daily uniform during Roll Call 9.4 Personnel Protective Equipments (PPE) inspections will be done on the first day of the (Monday). 9.5 Uniform items with visible area of repair shall not be worn. 410. ALTERATIONS AND UNAPPROVED APPAREL: 10.1 Items purchased for use as partiof the uniform shill meet the specifications as set forth in sill respect. Unauthorized equipment, alterations or additions to the official uniform is not permitted 10.2 No other insignia is to be applied to uniform unless approved in writing, 41. PERSONAL GROOMING: a) All service personnel have the responsibility of presenting themselves in 1 Professional manner. b) Fire and Emergency Personnel appearance is not fully an important aspect of the job, bul also an issue of safety. ¢) It is vital that all Fire personnel follow the standards set forth and use sound judgment in ployee adhering and enforcing this guideline. This not only applies to the uniform, but to grooming, ‘Fie & EMERGENCYSERVICSE UNIFORM RULES14.4 Mair 11.1.4 Hair should be kept clean, well groomed and maintained at all times so as not to interfere with the proper wearing of the official Uniform, cap, protective headgear, face piece and/or any other safely equipments. 11.1.2 The length of hair in front shall not fall over the eyebrows and the length of hair in the back shall not fall below the top of the buttoned shirt collar when the individual is in a standing position. 11.1.3 No length or style of hair is permitted that will in any way interfere with and / or obstruct the view of employees in the performance of their official duties. 14.1.4 Hair must be of a natural colour and not distracting or extreme in appearance. 11.1.5 The back of the neck is to be clean and free of hair. 11.2 Facial Hair: 11.24 Service Personnel shall be clean-shaven. However, facial hair such as sideburns, moustaches and hair under the bottom lip must be neatly trimmed and are permitted under Uniform policy of Govt. of India for other religious personnel 11.2.2 Sidebums will not be extended downward below the bottom of the earlobe, with the flare no wider than 1% inches. They will be neatly trimmed, shall not be further than 3/8 inch from the face and shall not cover any part of the ear. 14.2.3 The moustache will not curl upward in the “handlebar” moustache style, or extend out from the face more than 3/8 inch. The moustache or other facial hair will not make contact with or interfere with the safe operation of the SCBA set face piece. 11.3 Jowellery: 11.3.1 Necklaces will be kept inside the shirt 14.3.2 Any other jewellery is allowed as long as it does not distract from the uniform. 114 Tattoos: 11.4.1 Tattoos are not permitted on the face or neck and will not visible after wearing the uniform.
