Freshman Year

Explore careers and get involved

Fall Tasks

your interests.

Winter Tasks

Reflect on your progress. Evaluate your academic performance and adjust

Spring Tasks

Meet with Counselor to discuss your academic progress and college

summer and/or fall.
Begin preparing for any upcoming AP exams.
Keep those grades up! Evaluate current study habits and make changes if
necessary.

Spring Tasks

Take a practice SAT exam. This will help you set goals and begin to determine safety
and reach schools.
Ask teachers for letters of recommendation for college applications.
Take AP exams to earn college credit.

Summer Tasks

Visit college you might want to attend.


Continue practicing for the SAT and ACT.
Finalize your list of colleges and ensure it includes a mix of reach, match, and safety
schools.
Senior Year
Follow through on your goals
