ACS (INDEPENDENT) SCHOOL-BASED SCHOLARSHIP –

SURABAYA, INDONESIA
This ACS (Independent) School-Based Scholarship is for students from our partner schools in Surabaya,
Indonesia who are interested to study in our school for academic year 2025 (January to December).

How to apply
Please provide your information for the creation of your account on the application system by 25 March
2024, 5 pm via the below link

After your account is created, you will receive a system-generated email (by 5 April 2024) guiding you to
submit your application online by 22 April 2024.

Eligibility
Male Indonesian nationals who:
• are born in the years 2008, 2009 or 2010.
• are proficient in English Language.
• have done consistently well in school examinations.
• have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.
• students who may have progressed to another school which is not our target partner recruitment
school in the second half of 2024 and who still wish to have the opportunity to study in Singapore
should indicate your interest to be considered for the ASEAN scholarship in the online application.

Duration of scholarship
• Valid for 4 years from Secondary 3 to Pre-university 2, leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE
A-Level certificate or similar qualification e.g., International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.
• Renewed each year based on the scholar’s performance in school.

Benefits
The scholarship covers:
• Annual allowance with hostel accommodation.
• Settling-in allowance.
• Return economy airfare/transport allowance.
• School fees.
• Examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level or IB (once only, as applicable).
• Subsidised medical benefits and insurance cover for accidents.

Attend selection test and interview


The tentative selection test and interview dates will be in June – August 2024. Shortlisted candidates will
be informed via email at least 1 week in advance to attend the selection test and interview. The selection
test and interview may be held in different cities in Indonesia if there are enough shortlisted candidates,
according to the prevailing COVID-19 measures in Indonesia, if applicable.

Award of scholarship and arrival in Singapore


Successful candidates will be notified via email. The school will arrange for successful candidates to
arrive in Singapore tentatively from October to November 2024.
