Grading Policy
A= 90-100
B= 80-89
C= 70-79
D= 60-69
F= 50-0
Homework = 15%
Classwork = 15%
Test= 20%
Projects= 50%
tardiness
Homework:
You have one additional day to turn in any late homework without penalty. If turned in past the 1-day delay, it is 10 points
off per day, after 10 late days it is a zero. The only exception is if you have an official note or accommodation. Notes and
accommodation must be given as soon as possible.
Test:
Any take-home tests and quizzes must be done before the due date. If submitted after the due date it is a zero unless you have
an official note or accommodation.
Classwork:
All classwork is to be done by students in class unless assigned for homework. If it is not submitted by end of class, it is late.
Late classwork is a letter grade off per day you fail to submit it to me. Unless you have an official note or accommodation.
EXTRA CREDIT
There is no extra credit.
ATTENDANCE
You will need a note for any day you’re not in class. If you miss a class day, the work can be found on google classroom.
Homework, classwork, and any other work will be posted on there with the dates so you can know which work belongs to
which date.
If you miss a day, please email me with any and all questions you might have.
3 Tardies = 1 Absence
Every 3 Absences you get 1 phone call home.
Absences will be marked on your school calendar, this hurts you more than it hurts me, please try to come to class unless
you’re sick or have an emergency.
TECHNOLOGY
Computer usage:
You are allowed to use computers during class. When using computers you are expected to be on the site instructed by the
instructor or taking notes. You are not allowed to play games. Yes, you can listen to music during independent work. Make
sure you have headphones.
Phone usage:
You’re allowed to use phones in class only when instructed. Phones can be used to record Spanish lessons. (Audio only) You
are not allowed to record fellow classmates, or teachers. You are also allowed to use your phones to listen to music during
independent work but you must have headsets.
Tablets and other devices are only allowed when asked and monitored by instructor.

CHEATING
Cheating is not tolerated in this classroom. Any and all cheating will be reported to guardian and it will result in your work
getting a zero.
respect
When you’re inside my classroom we will not curse, make fun of others, or mimic accents.
I also do not tolerate any kind of inappropriate jokes, comments, or conversations.
When there is someone speaking, we must give our full attention to that person. We will not talk over others, laugh or point
while someone is speaking or presenting.
Remember patience is our number one key.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Maximum two people out of the classroom at a time.
- Food allergies must be informed to me so I can let others know not to bring that food to class.
- You may eat in class.
- Follow proper protocol during emergencies.
- Behave when there is a sub, one person will be assigned with making sure to collect the work I left for that day
while I was out so I can grade it when I’m back.
- Don’t liter.
- Raise your hand for questions.
- Remain seated unless instructed to move around.
- We do not go to other teachers’ classrooms during my Class time.
