Fatwas of Ulama regarding Aslu Deen and takfeer upon mushrikeen and taghout

Sheikh Sulayman bin Sahman rahimehullah said :"So know that believing in the falseness of
worshipping other
than Allah is not enough for being saved, but rather it should be accompanied with
(declaring takfeer of them and disavowing them and their religion)

[Tanbiyyat Dhu' Al'Albab]*

Sheikh Islam Ibn Tejmijje rahimehullah teala said :"Indeed all muslims agreed and all Prophets
forbid from worshiping taghout
and they made takfeer upon them.U wont become Muslim until u dont reject everything is
worshiped beside Allah .Even Christians
and Jews made takfeer upon the worshipers of statues .

Majmuatu al fatawa voulme 2 page 118

Abdurrahman ibnu Hassan said:"The man may be not Muwahid so long he not denied the
shirk, make bara from mushrikeen ,
and as long he makes takfeer upon on anyone, who falls into shirk ."
[Ad-Durar us-Saniyyah (2/204)]

"Risalah Aslu Din Al-Islam wa Qa’idatuhu" Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab
said:
Aslu Din al-Islam and its principles are in two issues:The first: The commandment of
worshipping
Allah alone Who has no partners, the incitation to this, allying based on this and declaring
takfir on whoever leaves this.
The second: Warning against shirk in the worship of Allah, being harsh in this, having enmity
based
on this and declaring takfir on whoever commits this.

Imam Al baqaa'ee said: No prophet has ever come except with takfeer of mushrikeen.
[Nidham ad durrar fi tanaseeb al ayat wa'l suwar (6/267)]
And the Allamah Alaluwsi said: "Those who call the mushrikeen 'Muslims' then curing his mind
is more neediest for him than establishing upon him the Hujjah"
[Gayaat Alamanee 1/54]

Sulayman ibnu ?Abdillah said: "Whosoever calls the Kufr Islam, or the Kuffar Muslims,he is a
Kafir ."
[Awthaqu ’Ural Iman, Seite 38]

Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hassan (ra) said: "There is no doubt that Allah the Most High didn't
excuse the people
of ignorance (pre-Islamic era) those who have no book in regards to their Shirk Akbar, so how
can a people who
have Allah's book between their hands, reading it be excused? It is surely the Hujjah of Allah
upon his slaves."

Uthman bin Fodio said: "A consensus has been concluded regarding the takfeer of whoever
doesn't
make takfeer on those who mix the actions of Islam with the actions of Kufr, even if his religion
was the Islamic religion or so he claims."

[Al'Jami al hawi li-fatawa Al Sheikh Uthman bin Fodio 1/111]

Sheikh Islam ibn Taymiah said :"One person can't be Muwahhid until he leaves shirk
dissoaciates from shirk and make takfeer upon the one who falls into shirk ."

Sheikh Tekijudin rahimehullah said :"The one who insults sahaba or just one of them ,and he
beliefs that Ali is
God or Ali is Messenger ,or he says that Jibreel made mistake in wah ,there is no doubt that
this person is kafir ,
and there is no doubt that person who doubts in his kufr is also kafir .He says:The one who
thinks that sahaba comited
riddah after the Prophet salAllahu aleyi ve selem death or he says that few only of sahaba
become fasiq there is no doubts
in kufr of this person and the one who doubts in his kufr he is kafir too ....

Ad Durraru Saniyyah voulme 12 page 69-70

Sheikh Suleyman bin Sahman said :"The answer is that the one who doesnt make takfeer
upon mushrikeen or
doubts their kufr ,he is kafir .This is haqq ,and this is aqeedah of ahluh sunnah wal jammah ."

Sheikh Muhammad ibn AbduWahab said :"Excellent words the bedouin said when he visited
us and he
learned something from islam.He said:"I bear witnnes that me and all bedouins are kafir and
whosoever from those ulama calls us muslims he is kafir too ,peace and blessing be upon
Muhammad."

Sheikh islam ibn Taymiah narates ijma where he says "The one who doubts in kufr of
Christians Jews and Mushrikeen is kafir

Imam Abu Al Husein Muhammad b.Ahmed Al Akalani al Malati died 377 hijra he said :"All
ahluh kibla and ahluh bidah
Mutazaliah Ashariah all muslims agreed that if somebody doubts in kufr of kafir he is kafir
,because the one who
doubts in kufr of kafir dont have eman ,and he can't make difference between kufr and eman
so there is no ikhtilaf in this matter in the whole ummah ."

Volume 28 Et-Tanbih var -Radd page 40-41

Abdullah and Ibrahim sons of Sheikh AbdulLatif and Ibn Sahman they said :"There is no
valeed leadership (Imama)
of the one who dont make tekfir Jahmiyah and graveworshipers ,or he doubts on their kufr ,
and this matter is known to all students of knowledge and ahluh hadeeth.Regarding the
graveworshipers
nobody doubts in their kufr except the one who never entered eman in his heart ."

Shaykh Sulayman bin Sahman said;

“Whoever doesn't make Takfir upon the one who commits Shirk in the worship of Allah,.....&
doesn't make Bara from him is in reality not
a Muslim, his saying of "La ilahe Ilallah doesn't benefit him .except by ikhlas of all types of
Ibadah to Allah alone without any partners,
making Takfir upon those who abandon it..& make bara from Shirk & it's people & making
Takfir on whoever commits it (Shirk)
..& this is the asl of the Din of Islam & it's Qaida upon which we are based upon...Takfir upon
the Kafir is from the matters
of Usul for which there's no space for ignorance & there is no excuse for anyone to abandon
acting upon it,
rather it is from the Wajibat of Din and it's Usul. [End Quote]

Sheikh AbduRrahman ibn Hasen said :"And likewise those who believed on the divinity of Ali
bin Abi Talib
"implementing punishment and burn them with fire because of their shirk with Allah" so ask
that ignorant
liar "was Ali right in killing them or wrong?" And "were they disbelievers or not?"
And whoever doesn't make takfir of them is kafir
[ad durur as sanniyah] 11/288

Ibn Katheer said:

"If you do not reject the mushrikeen, and ally yourselves with Mu'mineen, then Fitna will
spread."

Ibn Taymiyyah (ra) said: “For this reason, anyone who does not worship Allah, certainly
worships other than Allah.
Mankind is of two types: the Muwahhiduun and the Mushrikuun. Those who mix Tawheed with
Shirk like the Christians and Jews,
or he deviated ones who attribute themselves to Islam and their likes are Mushrikuun who mix
Tawheed and Shirk.
(Fatawa, 14: 282)

Shaikh-ul-Islam Muhammed ibn Abdul-Wahhab rahimullah said:

“By Allah, By Allah, my brothers hold unto ‘Aslu Deen’, its beginning and its end, that is La
ilaha ilallah.
Affirm its meaning, Love those who belong to it, consider them your brothers even if they are
far away from you.
Make the Tawageet Kufar, hate the one who loves them or argues on their behalf, or the one
who does not want to make takfeer on them,
even if hes says: ‘Allah did not obliged him to make takfeer on them. He lied on Allah and
slander Him. Rather Allah obliged
him with that by ordering him to make them Kufar and denounce them even if they are his
brothers and children.”

(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 2/119-120)

Shaikh-ul-Islam Muhammed ibn Abdul-Wahhab r.a. said: “The Deen of Islam is not valid
except with the rejection
of all Tawageet that are worshiped besides Allah and to make takfeer upon them. As Allah swt
says in the Quran:
”Whoever disbelieves in the Taghut and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most
trustworthy handhold that will never break.”

(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 10/53.)

Islam is Invalid without the takfeer upon the People who committed major Shirk and Kufr
Today many of those who claim that they are the saved Sect, following the straight path, have
fallen into Kufr.
They don’t dissociate themselves from those who have fallen into Shirk and clear Kufr. The
reasons are many,
but the most apparent is their ignorance of the Shahadah itself and what it necessitates and
implies.
The Imam’s of Najd said: “The Blood and Wealth of a Slave will not be protected until he
comes with two things:
1) To declare La ilaha il Allah and to know its meaning. Not just saying it
without any knowledge. The meaning of it is to single out Allah swt in all acts of ibaadah
(worship).
2) To disbelieve in everything that is worshiped besides Allah. To make
Takfeer on the Mushrikuun and reject them and whatever they worship besides Allah.”

Reasons why the Adhir (excuser) of mushrikeen is kafir:

1. He didn't make Kufr bi Taghut.
2. He rejects report of the Quran and doesn't believe in it.
3. He rejects the clear-cut Ijma he is without asluddin.
4. He denied and contradicted what is known in the deen by necessity.
Sheikh Islam Muhammad ibn AbdulWahhab said :"And Deen Islam wont be valeed except
with hatreed and takfeer upon mushrikeen ...""
Ad Duraru Saniyyah 2/204
”Whoever does not declare takfeer upon the mushrikeen or doubts regarding their kufr or
describes their
way as being correct has committed kufr.”

(Nawaqid Al-Islam – ‘The nullifiers of Islam’ by Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘AbdulWahhab)

Muhammad bin Sahnun ,one of Imam of Madhab of Maliki ,he said :"ULAMA ALL AGREED
THAT THE ONE WHO SWEARS TO MUHAMMAD SALALLAHU ALEJHI VE SELEM OR HE
MOCKS HIM IS KAFIR .SO THE PUNISHMENT WILL BE IMPLEMETED UPON HIM . AND
HUKM OF HIM IS TO BE EXECUTED AND WHOSOEVER DOUBTS HIS KUFR AND HIS
PUNISHMENT IS KAFIR JUST LIKE HIM ."

This is what the Ulama of Ummah said

(Here's a quote from Sh Ishaq bin 'Abdirrahman)I'll tell you something, the one who doesn't
differentiate between
a Muwahhid & a Mushrik is a Mushrik himself.& Whoever says Mushrikin are Muslims is also a
Kafir.
Whoever doesn't make Takfir upon whom Allah made Takfir in the Qur'an is a Kafir. Its clear in
Quran-Takfir upon Mushrik.

Sheikh-ul-Islam Muhammed bin Abdul-Wahhab long time of his life admited that he was
Mushrik and he repented
MAKES TAKFEER ON HIMSELF AND ALL HIS TEACHERS!
Sheikh Muhammed bin Abdul-Wahhab rahimahullah said:
“ I will tell you about myself. By Allah, I was searching for knowledge,
and those who knew me they thought that I am Alim but during that time
I did not know meaning of La ilaha ilAllah nor I knew ‘Din Islam’,
except after this good which Allah bestow upon us. Also my Shuyuh,
from them no one knew that. Therefore from scholars, who claim that he knew that or he knew
meaning
of Islam before this time or if he claims that some from his Shuyuh knew that, he lied,
confusing people and praising himself with what he is clear from. Proof of this is Abdullah ibn
Isa,
he is most learned and honored from scholars of Najd, Arid and beyond. Therefore fear Allah,
slaves of Allah! Be not proud before Him nor towards your Messenger salallahu alejhi va
salam.
Praise Allah the Most Exalted, Who send you one who will teach you your religion and made
easy
for you and do not be among those who substitute gratefulness to ungratefulness and
destroyed their
people and brought them to Hellfire which is evil place.”
(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 1/522-523; 10/50-52)

Imam Mufti of Nadj Abu Batin related the following from shaikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah,
“Whoever performs the action of Shirk,
with no doubt is a Mushrik. He will be invited to repent. If he has repented it is great, if not he
will be killed” he also said:
“With no doubt Imam Ibn Taymiyyah in many places has clarified that an individual who
performs any action of Shirk will be given
the hukm of takfeer (proclaimed a kafir). Although he had narrated from the ‘Ijma’ of the
Muslims, he had not excused the ignorant
(in matters of shirk). Allah (swt) stated “Allah forgives not (the sin of) joining other gods with
Him;
but He forgives whom He please other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah,
Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).” (An-Nisa 4/116) also “…Whoever joins other gods
with Allah, Allah will forbid him the garden, and
the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.” (al-Maida 5/72)
Now whoever claims this avoidance to be particular to only the stubborn (muannid) individuals
and excludes the ignorant,
the misinterpreters and the imitators (muqallid) with no doubt will have opposed
Allah and RasulAllah (saaws) and he will have separated from the path of the
‘Muminoon’(believers).
Moreover in the books of the fuqaha, the section of ‘the hukm of the murtad’ commences with
the following:
“Whoever performs the action of Shirk to Allah has to be called for repentance… and they
never limit it with the muannid.
In reality this is a clear matter. Alhamdulillah.”

Ibn Taymiyyah (r.a.) said: “Verily many from the people are tested in places of ignorance and
its times,
in matters of major Shirk while they do not know”
(Majmu’ul Fatawa, 22:387)
Sheikh Suleiman bin Sahman (r.a.) said:“So none is excused for not having Imaan in Allah and
His Angels, His books,
His Messengers and the Last day, so there is no excuse for him after that due to ignorance.
And Allah explains the
ignorance of many amongst the Kufaar, while clearly stating their kufr. And He ascribed the
Christians with ignorance,
while a Muslim will not doubt in their kufr. And we firmly state that; most of the Jews and
Christians today are blind
following ignorant (people) and we believe in their kufr and we believe in the kufr of those who
doubt in their kufr.
And the Qur’an stated upon that; verily doubt in the fundamentals of religion is kufr…..And
there is no excuse for
the person whose status is the like, because he did not understand the evidences of Allah and
His explanations.
There is no excuse for him after it reaches him even if he doesn’t understand it”
(Kashf Shubhatain, 92)

Sheikh AbduRahman ibn Hasan rahimahullah said: “He who commits Shirk, Leaves Tawheed
for they are two opposites which never
come together and can never cancel each other out.”
(Majmuatul Taweed, 39)

Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Islam implies submission (Istislam) to Allah alone. Whoever submits
himself to Him (s.w.t)
and together with anything else is a Mushrik, and whoever does not submit himself to Him
(s.w.t) is too arrogant
to worship Him.Both the Mushrik and ‘Mutekabir’ (arrogant) who worship Him (s.w.t) are still
without doubt Kufar
(disbeliever).Submission to Him alone implies worshipin Him Alone and obeying Him Alone.
This is the religion of Islam.”

(at Tadmuriyah, 169)

Ibn Qayyim (r.a.)mentioned in his book 'Tabakatul mukallafin’ 17th Category of Shariah bound
people:
“This is a level of followers that are ignorant from the ‘Kufar’, their followers and their donkeys
who followed them in it. They said: ‘We found our ancestors in this religion and we have in
them a best example”.
Then he (ibn Qayyim) said,“The Umah has agreed that this Category of people are ‘Kufar’
even though they are ignorant,
blind followers of their leaders.” However at another place in same book ibn Qayyim said:
“14th level:This level includes
the ones who have neither obedience nor disobedience, and have neither Kufr nor true Imaan;
and they are of different types.
So from them are those whom the true call did not reach at all and who did not hear it being
related.
Also from them is the insane person who could not grasp anything requiring intellect and could
not discern.
Also from them is the deaf person who never heard anything. And also from them are the
children of the Mushriks,
those who died before being able to discern anything.”(Tariqul Hiyyreteyn) Note here that he
named them Kufar at
one place but at another place he said that they have neither Kufr nor true Imaan and this is a
good example of
how the scholars use the ruling of the particular title that is either confirmed or negated
according to what applies.
Also a Fatwaa by the sons of Sheikhul Islam Muhammad ibn AbdulWahhab and Shaikh Hamd
ibn Nasir Aali Mu’ammar said:
“If one commits deeds of Kufr and Shirk out of Jahl (ignorance) or because there is no one
who points it out to him
(his/her error), we do not call him KAFIR until the evidences reach him. But we do not say
about him that he is a MUSLIM.”

(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 10/136)

According to an explanation by the author of ‘Badai’us Sanai’, Abu Yusuf narrated from Imam
Abu Hanifah:
“Abu Hanifah stated: No servant (‘abd) has an excuse regarding knowledge of his Rabb due to
ignorance.
All creatures must know their Rabb and make Tawheed. The reason for this is that they see
the created
sky, the creation of themselves and all things Allah created.

(Badai’us Sanai, 7:132)

Ibn Taymiyyah said: ”However ignorance regarding Allah is Kufr, either before the arrival of the
news or after.”
(Fatawa, 7:325)

Takfeer of those that fall into major Shirk is also a pillar of Aslu Deen (Fundamentals of the
Religion).
If a person performs all other pillars but fails to perform takfeer on the one who performed
major
Shirk or clear Kufr, then this person has not establish Aslu Deen and therefore is not a Muslim.
Same as the one who performs his prayer without performing qiyam (standing during prayer)
while he is able to do it. The Shaikh said: “the most dangerous kind in opposition; are those
that work according to Tawheed but do not know the merit of Tawhid, nor do they hate those
that
oppose Tawheed, nor do they perform takfeer on them.” And those that “leave Shirk and hate
Shirk
but do not know danger of Shirk, nor do they oppose the people of Shirk, nor do they perform
takfeer on them. They oppose all the Prophets
and what they came with from the religion of Allah.” Today many groups exist that ascribe
themselves
as the followers of the ‘Salaf’ in Aqeedah, but they are the most dangerous and severe groups
in opposition to Aslu Deen
(Fundaments of the Religion) because they do not perform takfeer on those that commit clear
Kufr and major Shirk..
They excuse others due to ignorance and ta’wil or they believe that takfeer is not a duty of the
common
Muslims except their scholars. Thus, they destroy their ‘Aslu Deen’

Shaikh-ul-Islam ibn Taymiyah said:

”The One who oposses a branch of Imaan does not become a believer until they establishes
Aslu Iman”(Iqtidau siratil musteqim 1/82)
Mutlakul Iman can‘t exist without the existence of ‘Aslu Deen’ and the one who is in opposition
to this is not a Muslim.
Aslu Deen is not valid without its two main pillars that are mentioned:
1) The Order to worship Allah Alone without Partners, encouraging that, making alliance upon
that and making takfeer upon the one who abandons it.
2) Prohibiting Shirk in worship to Allah, being severe in that, basing ones enmity upon that and
making takfeer on the one who commits it.
All of the above is mentioned by Allah , “There has indeed been an excellent example for you
in Ibrahim and those with him,
when they said to their people: ‘Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides
Allah. We have rejected you
and there has commenced between us and you, enmity and hatred forever, until you believe in
Allah alone.”
(Surah al-Mumtahinah 60/4)

Imam Abdul Latif bin Abdur Rahman rahimullah said: “The biggest condition for Salat and
Imama is Islam, knowledge of
Islam and its performance. The One who does takfeer of the Mushrikuun, hates them and
worships only Allah and does not
commit Shirk he is best to be Imam and most worthy. To make takfeer upon those who commit
Shirk Akbar and Ta’til of Allah’s Names and
Atributes is the biggest obligation of Kufr in Taghut.”

(Al-Durar Al- Saniyah, 12/264)

Shaikhul Islam Muhammed ibn Abdul-Wahhab said: “You to whom Allah bestowed blessing of
Islam and recognition that
Allah is only worthy of worship, do not think if you say: ‘this is truth and I reject everything
except this truth,
but I will not oppose Mushrikun nor I will speak anything about them, do not think that by this
way you will attain
entering into Islam. Instead, has to exist an enmity against them, against those who love them,
belittling them and
showing enmity against them. As your father Ibrahim alejhi va salam and those with him said:
“Verily, we are free from
you and whatever you worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has started
hostility and hatred for ever until you believe
in Allah Alone.” Or when the Most High says: “Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in
Allah, then he has grasped
the most trustworthy handhold that will never break.” Or as He says; “We have sent to every
nation Prophet: Worship Allah and
avoid (keep away from) Taghut.” If person states: ‘I am following Prophet salallahu alejhi va
salam and He is on truth,
but I would not be hostile to Lat, Uzza, I would be hostile towards Abu Jahl and those similar
to him, I have nothing with them, Islam of
such person is not valid.”

(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 2/109)

The two sons of Sheikhul Islam Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab, Husain and Abdullah,said:
“Regarding the one that says:
‘I do not declare enmity towards the Musrikun, or who declares enmity towards them but did
not perform Takfir on them,
or the who says; I do not have conflict with people of La ilaha ilAllah even if they committed
Kufr,
Shirk and opposed Din of Allah, or who says; I do not object to the shrines,” The two sons of
Shaikhul
Islam Muhammad ibn Abdil Wahhab, Husain and Abdullah, said: “ This is not a Muslim rather
he is from those about whom Allah said:
“And they say: ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in some.” Until he said “They are Kafirun in
truth.”
And Allah has obligated enmity towards Mushrikun, withdrawing from them, and performing
Takfir of them.”

(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 10/139-140)

Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Islam implies submission (Istislam) to Allah Alone. Whoever submits
himself to Him and
to anyone else is a Mushrik and whoever does not submit himself to Him is too arrogant to
Worship Him.
Both the Mushrik and Mutekabir (arrogant) to worship Him are Kafir. Submission Him Alone
implies worshiping
Him Alone and obeying Him Alone. This is religion of Islam.”

(at Tadmuriyah, 169)

Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab said: What I advice and urge you to do is to become
knowledgable in Tawhid,
and to read books of Tawhid for it will surely clarify to you the reality of Tawhid that Allah has
sent forth his messengers by,
and the reality of Shirk which Allah and his messenger has forbidden, and which he informed
us that he will not forgive it,
and that heaven upon its doer is forbidden, and whoever does it his deeds will be wasted, and
the affair all the affairs is
in knowing the reality of Tawhid that Allah has sent forth his messengers by, and by it a man
becomes a Muslim departing from Shirk and its people.*

Sheikh Sulaiman bin Sahman said:

"Whoever doesn't make takfeer of the mushrikeen, or doubted their Kufr then he is a kafir, and
this is the truth which Ahlu Sunnah wa'l Jammah attest to."

[Kasf al-Awham wa'l iltibas page 72]

Ibn Taymiyya (May Allah have mercy upon him) said:

"The label Mushrik is established before the message: so if he associates with his lord,
equalising him and setting
up with him another god and erecting rivals unto him before the message and (therefore) it
establishes that these labels are
put before it (the message) and likewise are the labels of Ignorance and Jahliyyah: Ignorance
and Jahliyyah (was the label)
before the advent of the messenger (peace be upon him) as for the punishment (on the
hereafter) then no."

[Majmu al'fatawa 20-38]

Sheikh al Islam Ibn Taymiyya said:

"And the their sayings are much worser than the sayings of the Christians and contain in it a
type of contradiction
that the Christians don't have this is why they say pantheism sometimes and unification
sometimes and oneness sometimes
therefore it's a thought that contradicts itself, that's why they dress it up to whoever doesn't
understand it.
Therefore it's all Kufr hidden and apparent by the consensus of every Muslim and whosoever
doubts the Kufr of them
after knowing their saying then he is a kafir just like the one who doubts in the Kufr of the
Jews, Christians and the Mushrikeen."

[Al'Radd al'Aqwam ala Ma'afi Kitab Fusus al-Hukm 2/368]

Uthman bin Fodio said:

"Indeed the absence of takfeer on those that emanate from themselves actions of Kufr leads
to Kufr,
If the Kafir was determined by the book, recurrent (mutawatir) Sunnah, or (that) which the
Muslims have consented to that
this action doesn't emanate from except a kafir and this is the alliance (muwallat) from which
the book has dictated that
it is from the inevitable absence of Iman, and consensus is also upon that this alliance
(muwallat) is Kufr.
Rather it is incumbent upon you oh brother to make takfeer on all that say: "That alliance
(muwallat) is not Kufr",
because he has denied what was revealed (I.e the Quran and Sunnah),
and if you don't declare him a Kafir then you at that point are closer to Kufr than Iman."

Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab (ra) said: "If it is said: Everyone says - "La ilaha ila
Allah" -
say there are some of them who say it and think that it means there's no creator but Allah and
there's no provider but
Allah and similar to this, and from amongst them is he who doesn't understand it's meaning
and from amongst them is he
who can't comprehend it's prerequisites, and from amongst them is he who cannot
comprehend it's reality, even more astonishing,
whoever knew it in one direction, and opposed it and it's people in another direction, and even
more astonishing is whoever
loved it and associated with it's people, and didn't differentiate between its allies and enemies,
Oh glory be to Allah the
almighty can do two different parties be in one deen? And all of them be on the truth? by no
means! Wallahi! So what is
left after the truth except falsehood?

Ibn Taymiyyah (May Allah have mercy Upon him) said: "an excuse does not become an
excuse except with the incapability
of removing it, or otherwise whenever it becomes possible for a person to know the truth and
has neglected in it then he doesn't become excused."
[Majmu al-fatawa 20/280]

Al-Sheikh Abdul Lateef said commenting in his Al-Misba'ah about the verse: "indeed the
polytheists are unclean,":
and their leader that defends and argues for them is definitely more evil.

Ulama of Najd may Allah have mercy upon them said:"He who does not make takfeer upon
mushrikeen he dont belief in Qu'ran because Qu'ran speaks
about takfeer of mushrikeen and the order has come to the Qu'ran u to make takfeer upon
mushrikeen ,to make baraa
from them and wage jihad against them (Ed-Duraru Es-Senijje ,9/29)

Ibn al-Qayyim (May Allah have mercy upon him) said: "Indeed the tawheed of Abu Jahl and
the worshippers of the
idols and it's tawheed Ar-Rububiyyah and it's the recognition that there's no creator except
Allah, doesn't
save oneself alone for if it did save one by itself then it would have saved the worshippers of
the idols
and those with a great gap in regards to their tawheed of divinity that's the difference
between the mushrikeen and the muwahiddeen."

[Madarij al Salikeen 1/633]

And Harb al Karmani in aqeedah that it's reported that the people of hadeeth agreed upon:
and whoever doesn't
make takfeer of them - meaning the Jahmiyyah sect - nor all of the people nor the Jahmiyyah
then he is one of them"

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: {"And they claimed that none disbelieves except by
ignorance and this
is narrated about Jahm bin Safwan"} [Majmu al-Fatawa 7/345]

Sheikh Sulayman bin Sahman said:

Whoever doesn't pronounce takfir on whoever committed shirk with Allah in worship and didn't
disavow him then in reality
such is not a Muslim, and his utterance of "La ilaha ila Allah" will not benefit him except by
devoting all the types of
worship to Allah alone without any partners and pronouncing takfeer on whosoever leaves it,
and bara'ah from shirk and it's
people and takfeer of whoever does it, and this is Asl deen of Islam and it's base which is built
upon.

The Scholar Abd al-Latif Al Sheikh (rh) said: the mere utterance of the two testimonies alone
doesn't become
a preventative of takfeer, except if one knows it's meaning and exemplifies it, and has
sincerely reserved
worship for Allah, and did not associate with him anyone besides him, for him does the two
testimonies benefit.
[al'Radd ala Al-Suhaaf 33]
Sheikh Hamad bin Mu'mar said: Ans the verses that denote this meaning are many, The most
glorified tells us that they didn't
understand the Quran and they didn't comprehend it, and that he will punish them by covering
their
hearts and deafening their ears, and that he sealed their hearts, hearing and sight, and he
didn't
excuse them after all that, but rather judged them on disbelief and ordered their killing, so the
prophet
(peace be upon him) killed them and judged them on disbelief, so this clarifies for you that the
reaching
of the proof is a something and understanding it is something else>> finished
(Al'Nabdha al'Shareefah page 115)*

Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Hassan Al-Sheikh said: the scholars predecessors and the
succeeding ones and the companions
and their successors and the whole of the people of tradition have are on a consensus that a
person doesn't
become a Muslim except by ridding oneself from the greater polytheism and disassociating
oneself from it and
whoever does it and having hatred and animosity against them.

[Ad'durrar Al'Saniyyah 11/545-546]

Sheikh Abdullah Abaa Bittin (May Allah have mercy upon him) said:
Whoever said that it is not allowed to make takfir of the one who pronounces the two
testimonies,
prays and fasts, then he is a kafir, and whoever doubts his Kufr is a kafir - until he said the
following -
for he is denying Allah, his messenger and the clear-cut consensus, that none with the
slightest insight
into the speech of the scholars would doubt about, but whims and blind-following deafens and
blinds
(And he to whom Allah has not granted light - for him there is no light).

Sheikh Abdurahman bin Hassan (rahimhu Allah tala) says tawhid is not complete for its people
except by
Dissociate oneself from the people of shirk and having animosity and making takfeer of them

Imam ibn Hazm al Andalusi said :"Whoever rules by the Gospel in issues where there is not
text from
revelation in the Shari'ah of Islam ,then he is Kafir Mushrik outside of Islam."
{Ihkam al-Ahkaam Fee Usool Al-Ahkaam" (5/153}

Sheikh Abdul-Hakam Al Qahtasi said :"Regardin the one who claims that al-kufr bit -taghut the
rejction of taghout
does not require that you declare Takfir on the taghout itself ,nor Takfir on its followers,and the
likes of him
,then he is more astra than his tribes donkey ,and he doesn not understand what is coming
out from his head .
And on top of all this he is filthy kafir who wants the destruction of religion of the prophets .

Sheikh islam ibn Taymiah narates ijma where he says "The one who doubts in kufr of
Christians Jews and Mushrikeen is kafir."

[Mexhmua el-Fetava - v2, page . 383]

Shaykh islam Ibn Taymiah said :"Who prays to Ali is Kafir and whosoever doubts his kufr is
kafir itself"

Imam Schafi' said:"If the Jahil were excused by his ignorance, so the ignorance would be
better than the knowledge."

Imam al-Shawkani said:

"The mere utterance of "La ilaha ila Allah" without acting upon its meaning islam wont be
acepted for if one said
it from the people of ignorance and then he continued to worship his idol that wouldn't be
acepted "

Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab said:
Islam does not become correct except with opposing the people of the greater shirk, if he does
not do
so then he is one of them even if he hasn't done the shirk

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdil-Wahhab (rh) said:"Ibn Taymiyyah Al Hanbali does not view that
there is excuse [for ignorance] in the clear matters"

Imam Abdur Rahman bin Hasan said:“The One who knows the meaning of La ilaha il Allah
knows that the one whodoubts or hesitates regarding the status
of Kufr about the one who commited Shirk to Allah, that He did not make Kufr in Taghut.”

Muhammad ibnu ?Abd al-Wahhab said:

What the Description of Kufr bit Taghoot is that you have to be convinced that everything
whorshipped besides
Allah is falsehood, to leave this whorship, hating, declare their followers as Kuffar and showIng
hostility towards them.
And the meaning of Eman billah is that you convinced that Allah is the only one who deserves
to be whorshipped,
who has no partners that you make all Types of whorship for Allah with sincerity and to deny
everything that
is whorshipped besides him and that you love the Believers support them and hate the
mushrikin having hostility towards them

Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi narrated:

"Abu Salamah(246 a.H.) said: Whoever does not declare kufr over a Kafir,than he himself is a
Kafir." [Tarikh Baghdad (8/351)

Imam ‘Abdul Latif Ibn Abdur Rahman said: “And Indeed many Mushrikeen in this era have
erred – they assume that those who do Takfeer
upon people who pronounce the Two Testimonies (Shahadatayn), they assume that such
people are Khawarij – But this is not the truth.
Rather, pronouncing the Two Testimonies is not a barrier from making Takfeer upon someone
– it is only a barrier from the one who realizes
its meaning, and acts upon its requisites, and purifies all his Ibadah for Allah alone, and does
not commit any Shirk with Allah –
so the Two Testimonies only benefit such a person.” [Ad Durar As Saniyyah 12/263]

Shaykh 'Abdul-Latif ibn 'Abdur-Rahman said:

"It could not be comprehended that anyone would know the Tawheed and act upon it and (yet
he) would not have enmity against
the Mushrikeen. And whoever does not have enmity towards them, then it is not to be said that
he knows the Tawheed or acts upon it."
(Ad-Durar As-Saniyyah, Volume of Jihad, page 167)

Whenever a person makes halal what is haram by consensus or makes haram what is halal
by consensus or replaces the
Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the
scholars of Fiqh.”

Sheikh Islam ibn Taaymiah in this work "El-Iqna" said:"Whosoever ask help from dead
peple even that dead person was rightful caliph so whosoever ask help from dead is kafir
and whosoever doubts his kufr is kafir ".

Ulama of Najd said :"Second matter that is important to wagge jihad against those
who dont make takfeer upon mushrikeen or doubt their kufr this nullify Islam and shahada "La
ilahe ilallah"
whosoever prescribe to this his wealth and blood is halal and jihad upon them is wajib
until they start and make takfeer upon mushrikeen."

Ibnul Vezir in his work "Er-Revd El-Besim" (2/508) said :"there is no doubt that
if someone doubts in kufr of the one who worships stones its fard to make takfeer upon him
and whosoever dont make takfeer upon hil falled into kufr ,and there is no barier
regarding this because this kufr is known from neccesity in Din Islam."

Shaikh AbdurRahaman ibn Hasan rahimahullah said: “Lailaha ilAllah is word of

Islam due to ignorance of its meaning Islam will not be valid. If he does not know
why is this word established and what it point to.” (Ed Durer es Senijje, 2:246)

Shaikh Abu Butayn (ra) answered a question in the following manner to those who
asked him: “You are making takfir of Muslims.’ The individual who say ‘you are
making takfir of Muslims’ to us does not know Islam or Tawhid. It is understood
from his statement that his Islam is not sound/valid. It is because this individual does
not reject shirk of today’s mushrikun (disbelievers) and he does not evaluate it as shirk
which nullifies Tawhid. An individual who is in such situation is not Muslim.”
(Majmuatu’r-Rasail, I, Part 3, 655)

Shaikhul Islam Muhammed ibn Abdul- Wahhab said:

“Meaning of disbelieve in Taghut is to reject everything which is worshiped instead of
Allah from: Jinn, Mankind, tress, stones and other, and to testify that such is on Kufr
and on misguidance, to hate him, even if he is your father or brother. One who says:
‘I am worshipping only Allah, but I am not hostile towards leaders neither towards
ombs over graves and similar. Such person in essence is negator of La ilaha ilallah.
He does not believe in Allah nor he performed Kufr in Taghut.”
(Al-Durar Al-Saniyah, 2/121)

The sons of Shaikh-ul-Islam Muhammed ibn Abdul-Wahhab, Husain and

Abdullah r.a. said:
“Regarding the one that says: ‘I do not declare enmity towards the Musrikuun’, or
the one that declares enmity towards them but does not perform takfeer on them, or
the one who says ‘I do not have conflict with people of La ilaha ilallah even if they
committed Kufr, Shirk and opposed the Deen of Allah’, or who says ‘I do not
object to the shrines’. Husain and Abdullah r.a said: ‘This person is not a Muslim, rather this
person is
from those about whom Allah said: ‘And they say: We believe in some and
disbelieve in some. Until he said ‘They are Kafiruun in truth’. And Allah has
obligated enmity towards the Mushrikun, withdrawing from them, and performing
takfeer of them.”

Hamad bin Atiq al Nadjdi rahimullah said:

“So many people have not fallen into Shirk, yet they do not dissociate themselves
from the Mushrikun, so they did not become Muslims because they did not follow
the Deen of the Messengers.”
(Sabili Najat val Fikak)

Here Imam Hamad bin Atiq al Nadjdi rahimullah said that dissociation (hatred,
takfir) from the Mushrikuun is Aslu Deen, because all the Messengers called to
tawheed and the distruction of Shirk. The Shaikh also mention in this book that in
Aslud’Deen there is no excuse of ignorance, wrong interpretation (Ta’weel) and
blind following (Taqleed)’.

Al-'Allamah al-Shanqiti (Allah's mercy on him) said in Adwa' al-Bayan 162/7:

"the shirk to Allah in the judgment and the shirk his opposite in the '
Ibadah have all of the same meaning." There is no difference between these two .
Who follows another legislation than that of Allah and an other decree-law,
and who worships an idol and prostrates to them They're both the same,
both are Mushrik to Allah."

Sheikh AbdurRahman ibn Hasen said:"Whoever commits shirk has left tawhid,
for they are two opposites that never meet, so wherever shirk is found tawhid
is extinguished Ad durrar al sanniyah volume 2 page 204 and majmu al fatawa
volume 1 page 48

Sulayman bin sahman said: And from what is known in the deen by necessity
is that islam and shirk are two nulliiers that do not come together or
uphold each other, and upon it is impossible under any doubt of the doubts
that a mushrik can be Muslim, because that leads to binding the two nullifiers
and the impossible happening.

Ibn Taymiyya (May Allah have mercy upon him) said "and a man only becomes a
Muslim monotheist Haneef if he bears witness that there is none worthy of
worship except Allah so he worships Allah alone whilst not associating any
partners with him in his divinity and his love for him and his servitude and
turning to him and submitting to him and his supplication to him and relying
upon him and loyalty for his sake and animosity for his sake and loving what
he loves, and hating what he hates and exempting Tawheed from the falsehood of
shirk."

Sheikh Ibn Taymiyya said: Whoever insults sahaba or says lt that Ali is god
or he was the prophet but it was Jibril that mistaken in delivering the
prophecy , then there is no doubt in his Kufr, rather there is no doubt on
however stops in making takfir of him.

Sheikh Abdul Lateef Al Sheikh said: "As for the worshippers of the graves
then I haven't seen anyone from amongst the people of knowledge
(that are referenced from) stop in m aking takfir of them."

Sheikh Islam ibn Taymiah said :"About the kufr of Druze all muslims agreed,
and whosoever doubts their kufr is kafir just like them ,Druze are not even in
same gradeas Christian or Jews they are worst then anykind of mushrikeen,
and their food i'ts not allowed to be consumated ."

Abdur Rahman Bin Hasan Al Shaykh (rh) said:

Everyone is entrusted to learn Tawheed, for which Allah The Most High created both the
Jinn and the Ince (mankind), and sent all His Prophets and Messengers to call to. You are
reorgive nor excuse out of ignorance, and it is also forbidden to blindly follow on
this matter because it is the corner-stone and root of one’s Islam. Therefore anyone who
does not enjoin the good and forbid evil is surely led far astray especially because the
greatest good is Tawheed and the worst evil is Shirk."

Sheikh Hammad b.Atik may Allah have mercy on him said :"Aslu Deen Islam of all Prophets
is to practice Tawheed to love people of Tawheed and to allie them to dissociate
from people of shirk to make takfeer upon them and to have hatreed toward them ."
