Chapter 1

Skyler POV

The sun had just begun to rise over the bustling city of Los Angeles, casting a warm
glow over the streets below. I sat at a cozy table in my favorite coffee shop, nervously
flipping through the script for my upcoming talk show appearance. "I can do this, I can
do this," I whispered under my breath, trying to calm my racing heart.

I waved over the friendly barista who was making my latte. "Hey, Sarah, can I get my
usual latte with almond milk, please?" I asked with a smile, trying to focus on the lines
of the script in front of me.

"Of course, Skyler! Coming right up," Sarah replied, her brown eyes shining.

As I focused on the script, a tall, handsome man entered the coffee shop, his presence
commanding attention. Noah Stone, a well-known actor in Hollywood, strutted in
confidently. I couldn't help but steal a quick glance as he made his way to the counter
to place his order.

Lost in thought, I felt a sudden jolt as Noah knocked into my table, causing my latte to
spill all over my white blouse. Hot coffee splashed everywhere, eliciting gasps from
the surrounding people. "Watch it, buddy!" I exclaimed, trying to dab at the coffee
stains spreading across my blouse.

Noah's careless reaction only added to my frustration. "It's just a little spill, no need to
make a big deal out of it," he remarked, his attitude hitting on my nerves.

"Easier said than done when you're not the one wearing the coffee!" I shot back,
feeling a surge of anger coming up.

As tension escalated between us, Noah's gaze fell on the script lying open on the table.
His expression shifted as he recognized me. "You're Skyler-Blue Martini, right? I've
seen you in that indie film last year," Noah said, a hint of some tone in his voice.

Surprised by the change in tone, I nodded. "Yes, that's me." I answered.

Before he could answer, I stood up, knocking over my chair as I muttered, "I can't do
this right now."
Storming out of the coffee shop frustration swirling inside me, I made my way to my
black Ford F160. Climbing into the sleek vehicle, I settled into the seat, the scent of
coffee lingering in the air.
Chapter 2

Noah POV

I made my way to my sisters apartment. I knocked on the door, my heart pounding

loudly in my chest as I waited for her to answer. But instead of seeing Ava, her
husband, Michael, greeted me with a cool expression.

"Noah, what are you doing here?", a hint of tension in his voice as he looked at me.

"I need to talk to Ava," I replied, my voice steady but filled with an undercurrent of
anxiety. "It's important."

"Michael, who's at the do-" Ava asked walking up beside her husband. But her words
faltered as soon as she saw me.

The atmosphere heavy with tension, the air thick with unspoken and unresolved issues.

Michael left us alone to have this conversation.

Ava's expression was guarded as she looked at me. The familiar pain and hurt in her
eyes cut me to the core, a sharp pang of guilt twisting in my chest as I met her gaze.

"What do you want, Noah?" Ava's voice was cold and distant, her walls firmly in place
as she talk to me her voice laced with a mix of anger and hurt.

"I thought we had made it clear that I needed space."

"I know, Ava, but please, I need to talk to you," I pleaded, my voice heavy with
desperation.

"I messed up, and I need to make things right."

Ava's eyes softened for a moment before she quickly masked it.
"Noah. You never have time for me anymore, look I know your job needs you but you
missed my wedding for goodness sake! After mum and dad died you shut everyone
out Oli." My heart stopped for a second when I heard the name only she called me
when we were younger. My full name is Noah Oliver Stone. And only Ava addresses
me by my middle name.

"You always mess up, Noah. You're never there when it counts, and you expect me to
just forgive and forget."

Her words cut me deep, a deep ache in my bones as I struggled to find the right
response. "I'm trying, Ava. I'm really trying to be better, to be there for you. Please,
just give me a chance to make it right."

"I gave you that chance and you tossed it away like a piece of dirt" she said after
shutting the door in my face.

As I walked away from Ava's apartment, the weight of her anger and disappointment
heavy on my shoulders.
Chapter 3

Skyler POV

"Ok ladies and gentlemen now is the moment we've all been waiting for! It is my
pleasure to announce Skyler -Blue Martini's entrance! "

The hostess introduced me as the audience erupted into cheers and applause. I walked
confidently onto the stage, the bright lights making my path as I took a seat in the
plush leather chair, a smile on my lips.

"Hey guys thank you so much for having me I'm thrilled to be here with all of you
today," I greeted the audience.

The host wasted no time getting into the interview, firing questions about my
background and my upbringing, I shared,

"I was raised in a Christian household, and faith has always been a guiding light in my
life."

"Okay girl we see you. So can you answer this question? What is the difference
between a Christian man and a man of God?" The host asked

Amused by the question I answered

"A Christian man is someone who walks around with a cross on his chain saying he's
Christian yet his actions are anything but. But a man of God is a a God fearing man
who doesn't just walk around saying he's Christian but shows it, through their actions.
"

"Oooooooo you guys heard that wisdom? Love that answer girl."

"So Skyler do you have a man of God in the audience?" Darline asked

"Sadly I haven't found the right one yet"

"Aww come on Skyler no one? "

"Sorry to disappoint but nope." I answered laughing

As the questions continued, the host inquired about my daily routine.

"A day in the life of Skyler starts of with the word obviously and then my morning
work out. Making food for my three dogs - Luna, Terio, and Roxy, doing my skincare
and make up with the company of my two cats - Von and Verv, and having breakfast
with my parrot, Stella."

When asked about siblings, I gently replied, "I don't have any siblings, but I've been
fortunate to have an amazing support system of friends and loved ones who feel just
like family."

"So Skyler a little birdy told me about this cool movie that should be coming out in
late August do you know anything about that?"

"Wow Darline, very subtle. But in a matter of fact I actually do know about a cool
movie coming out in late August."

"Really do you know who's casting?"

"Auditions haven't even happened. But I can tell you it's going to be an amazing
movie rolled coster of emotions."

"Oh come on Skyler can't you give us a little more? Please."

The whole audience follows the lead on Darline.

"Guys I could get in big trouble. But... Fine all I can say is auditions are I 3 weeks and
casting is in 2 says after that. So you'll soon know."

As the interview came to a close, I thanked the Darline and the audience for their
warm reception and support. Walking off the stage, the roar of the crowd echoing in
my ears.
Chapter 4
Once the interview had finished I walked in to the elevator. I was on the 24th level so I
was not about to take the stairs. On my way down the lift stopped at level 21 I looked
up from my phone to see a handsom man walk in, he smiles.

"Hey Skyler right? I just watched your interview, it was great." he said warmly

"Yeah? Thank you...

"Cameron, Cameron Boyce" he says with a smile

"Nice to meet you Cameron. So what brought you to watch the interview?"

" I'm friends with Darline and I'm on special effects and editing. "

"That's really cool so d-

I'm interrupted by his phone ringing.

"Yo man whats go- bro slow down, yeah I'm leaving the building now. Ok see you
there."And he hangs up

At that moment the doors open

"It was nice meeting you Skyker."

"Yeah you too Cameron."

I walk out of the building with one thing on my mind....
