First, I thankful to our Almighty God who gives me strength every day, and we guide me
to choose the right decision and he gives me wisdom, hope and effort to make this
portfolio, to make a success in work immersion.

PART 1: IMPORTANT POINTS IN WORK IMMERSION
INTRODUCTION
The work immersion is the part of K to 12 of Senior High School curriculum of he department
of education. In which the student will experience the actual job and work guidelines that
simulated in every companies. The work immersion is not an actual agreement to work but rather
a process in which the student demonstrate the process of working and improve knowledge
shared by school, also this is where the imitation of the real work takes sharp.
Work Immersion is important because it can help the student to familiar the realities of working
whether they pursue a degree. In our situation, our job immersion lasts for 80 hours or 10 days.
Work immersion does allow the student to exhibit the skill that they learn in the school
throughout their lives and also, the student learn discipline organization and people skill while
they train out in the workplace. A senior high school student are exposed to and became
familiarized with work-related environment related to their field or specialization.
OBJECTIVES OF WORK IMMERSION
One of the goals of the work immersion of Grade 12 Senior High School Students is to expose
and let them familiarize the work-related environment relevant to their strand/field of
specialization. This work Immersion project will provides students with a lot opportunities and
enables students to:
1. Learn and experience new things.
2. Meet different kind of people/worker in the working area.
3. Become familiar with the workplace.
4. Appreciate the worker’s hardworks and perseverance on their job; and
5. Gain and enhance their knowledge and skills.
VALUES AND ATTRIBUTES OF A STUDENTS IN A WORK IMMERSION
As a student who have to undergo work immersion , there are some values and attributes that you
can follow which can help you to have a good work experience;

PROFILE OF THE TRAINING AREA
History of the Training Area
Filbake Food Corporation is the principal producer of the Bread and Butter bakery products,
now distributed in different Bread and Butter started in 1986 as a mall bakery in Kalibo, Aklan
and eventually grown to become one of the major bakery company in Panay Island, the
Philippines. The company produces a variety of bread, cookies, cakes and artisan bread for the
domestic market. In the year 2001, Bread and Butter has started developing a franchise program
to meet the growing number of consumers. The rest is history.

DAILY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Day 1
In our first day of work immersion, we are first grouped and our group consists of five members.
Our supervisor assigned us in assigned area which is BC2; the mixing and packing area. Me and
my groupmates helped and did different tasks. I first observed the workers in how they do the
task and they also taught us on how to do it. Most of the workers in the mixing area are
interactive and kind.
Day 2
In order not to be late. We woke up early and prepare ourselves for our duty, but there was a
heavy rain outside so we are decided to ride on tricycle. We arrive at the Filbake Food
Corporation around at 7 am. Me and my groupmates are log-in in our DTR then we go to the
area that we are assigned. My groupmates and I assigned to Mongo loaf filling the one of the
workers told us to make a 100 pieces of mongo loaf filling then arrange it to the baking sheet.

Day 3
In our day 3 of work immersion, We woke up early then prepare food and prepare ourselves for
our duty. Then arrived at the Filbake Food Corporation earlier we waited about an hour until we
started our job, this day we sprinkled bread crumbs on the dough and then put/arrange it in a
baking pan and helped in packing various kind of breads.
Day 4
We woke up early at 4 am then prepare ourselves. As well as our pack lunch, next when were
going to the work around 5:50 we asked to our landlady if we can ride a tricycle but the tricycle
driver off duty well so were late. We hurried to walk until into the highway then exactly there’s a
tricycle so we ride on. In the morning, me and my groupmates are assigned to the mixing area we
did a various kind of tasks. And the afternoon, we are in the packing area to pack some any
bread.
Day 5
Its our last day of duty, as usual we woke up early then prepare for the duty. We are assigned to
the mixing area in the morning, we arrange the mongo loaf filling at the baking sheet. In the
afternoon, packed a pineapple delight and any kinds of bread.
Day 6
It was our first of duty in BC1. We are assigned to the capitol, Me, Rhona, and Jessica assigned
to put an icing on the top of toasted bread. But Justin Reunir assigned to the Spanish bread to
remove the dirt and after that he cut off the bread.
Day 7
Just like our first day on BC1, we are assigned to put an icing on the top of toasted bread. Justin
Reunir assigned to the Spanish bread.
Day 8
Rhona and Jessica assigned in the packing area, there packed a Biscocho.
Day 9
Rhona and Jessica assigned in the packing area, there packed a Biscocho. We only enjoy our
remaining day, so were not that so tired. But we are hungry and sleepy way back home.
Day 10
Its our last day of Work Immersion, Me and my groupmates put an icing on the top of toasted
bread, so simple but our foot can’t manage and deal with standing about 8 hours a little tiredy
day but we will miss all the experiences, learnings, knowledge and skills in Filbake Food
Corporation, we met a very approachable, jolly, and crazy, colleagues’ workers to us especially

in the mixing area. Almost the employees there was a guy, they’ve been a father, brother, and a
friend to us since day one in the mixing area. So very thankful and grateful to have them, and to
our supervisor on mixing area Sir Libert thank you so much for being a kindness person, also sir
Ronil our supervisor at capitol.
Problem Encountered
We have encountered problem during the immersion at the capitol, because it makes me felt
boring it cannot challenge me or I cannot apply my skills, on the packing because that what
always we are doing. We are standing at 8 hours and I felt my feet is hurting, I’ll waiting a time
to take a break. It is a good way of exposing the students to different work environments, not just
only the class and teacher because only observing is our job. We felt stressful when we faced the
same jobs as a worker at Filbake Food Corporation, creating a successful work immersion
program requires collaboration, preparation, communication between the schools, students, and
the workplace.
Suggestions and Recommendations
My suggestions and recommendation for the Filbake Food Corporation, In work immersion not
only to observe. Work immersion programs effective in helping students to develop practical
skills and knowledge related to their chosen career paths. These programs offer a unique
opportunity for students to experience a real work immersion and gain hands-on experience in
their fields. Improve work immersion programs and help students make the most of their
experience. Employers should provide students with opportunities to practice the skills they have
learned in the classroom. We were able to follow it in about 8 hours, giving students tasks that
challenge them and require them to apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Thank you to the
workers and Filbake Food Company for the success and well done of our work immersion.
