Chapter 4 keyboard

4.1 Key description(Table 4.1)

button Description

FUNC/ENTER Enter menu screen function, set parameter confirmation

4.2 Indicator description


RUN: When the inverter is running, the indicator light is on, and the indicator is off
when the inverter stops outputting.

STANDBY: When the inverter is in the state of cut off(standby) , the standby
indicator flashes;

Auto: VFD/VSD works in auto mode for constant pressure/temperature

Master:light on Backup maste:twinkle every second Slave :light off

Manul: VFD/VSD works in Manul mode,frequency is setted manully

REV: Reversed rotation

Chapter 5 Quick Setup


Below is the procedure to complete the setup:

First step:

Setting Modbus address every VFD/VSD

Then set F26.03 choose the master and F26.04( QTY of pumps(VFD/VSD) in
system)

Set the parameters in master(lead F26.03=0)VFD/VSD

F10.04 = 10.0 (10 bar) Sensor measurement limit --- default

F10.01 = 5 (5 bar)

Parameters will copy to other VFD/VSD( not include the terminal parameters)

Second step: Check the direction of rotation of the engine:

Start the pump briefly and check that the direction of rotation is correct.

The direction of rotation can be changed in the following ways:

Turn off the frequency converter. Make sure the display goes out. Swap

any two wires on the U / V / W pins.

Stop the frequency converter and change the value of function P4.00.

Third step:Detailed setting.

Detailed settings must be made according to the table below

Forth step:Start-up mode setting

The keyboard start-up

Set the parameter F00.01=0, and operate the keyboard Run/Stop to control the start
and stop of the inverter.

The terminal start-up

Set parameter F00.01=1, and short-circuit S1 and DCM on the terminals(F06.00=1),


the inverter will start; disconnect S1 and DCM, the inverter will stop. The shorting
method is shown in Figure 8.2.

Chapter 7 Information on the protection, diagnosis and

elimination of errors in the VFD.


PD ES series controller is equipped with effective protection against under voltage and over
voltage, over current and voltage overheating. If the controller fails, first eliminate the cause of
the problem and then restart it.

Note: The power must be cut off during maintenance.
