Dear Sir,
As an active member of the youth wing of the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals), I wish to protest, through the pages of your esteemed
newspaper, against the cruelty to animals. Recently I have had the misfortune of
witnessing a most-over-burdened bullock-cart on the road. Such was the weight of the
burden that the poor bull found it impossible to move. The bull was being mercilessly
whipped so that he could exert more force and pull the cart.
This inhuman behavior is visible even while making the animals perform for
amusement or while caging them for exhibitions.
I would like to point out that it is improper and wrong on our part to be cruel and
inhumane in our treatment to animals. We should look for effective ways and means
to rectify our folly. Even if each one of us pledges to perform an act of kindness
towards animals every day, our attitude towards all those animals that work for us
every day will be bound to change for better.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely

Subject: Poor sanitary conditions and mosquitoes menace
Sir:
I am writing this to tell you about the poor sanitary conditions in our area. The present
seepage framework is defective to the point that a decent shower/ rain would make
the entire region into a gathering of little lakes and pools. The obstructing of rain-
water in a portion of these parts of the city would be as profound as 3 feet. Thus the
entire traffic is disengaged and we suffer a lot of trouble during rainy season. These
poor conditions are resulting in mosquito menace and causing various diseases like
dengue and malaria.
Truly it is stunning that the town chamber specialists have not made any strides for
betterment of the system till now. I on behalf of the residents of the entire colony
appeal to you to look into the matter and take prompt action as the rainy season is not
very far. In case of further delay, the residents are planning to call a national TV
channel and have a documentary made of the insanitary conditions prevailing in our
area. It will definitely attract the attention of the authorities at the Central
Government.
I would be highly obliged for this favor if you pay notice to this issue.
Yours faithfully,

4. Animal Care Clinic
Animals are a wonderful part of our lives. They bring us joy. They make us
laugh. They give us unconditional love.
But, many animals in our society are suffering. Some go hungry on our streets;
others put to death in our shelters; and many suffer silently at the hands of their
owners, who either don’t understand, or simply don’t care. So for the better life they
also need Treatment and care without constraints on limits
The animal care clinics are advanced surgery specialty clinic for the well-
being of nonhuman animals. They have facilities of cardiology, critical care,
diagnostics, exotic pet medicine and grooming. Caring atmosphere is as much a part
of animal care as the veterinary practice. Scientific advancement in veterinary
medicine is required to be put into clinical use, for the benefit of animals, and not
merely be a topic for academic research. It has been a life’s calling for us to make
sure animals are healthy and their guardians happy. Respect for animal welfare is
often based on the belief that nonhuman animals are sentient and that consideration
should be given to their well-being or suffering, especially when they are under the
care of humans.
