At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:
a. Describe the different season in the Philippines.
b. Identify and differentiate the two different seasons in the Philippines; and
c. Appreciate the importance of considering appropriate activities to do in each season in the
Philippines.

c. Materials: Power point presentation, laptop, TV, visual aids, and pictures
d. Value focus: Appreciation of the activities to do in each season of the Philippines.

Our topic for today is all about the
Seasons in the Philippines.
Weather refers to the condition of a
place in a short period of time.
Season is the period of the year the is
usually characterized by a particular
kind of a weather.
Philippines has two kinds of season, the
wet and dry season.
Wet Season is characterized by a
pronounced rainy season with a
thunderstorm. The wet or rainy season
takes place from June to November.
It is influenced by Hanging Habagat
or Southwest Monsoon.
Farmers are also able to plant their
crops and bring flood to the lowlands.
Dry Season is characterized by hot
and infrequent rainfall as well as
dusty soil. The dry season takes place
during the months of December to
May.
It is influenced by Hanging Amihan
or Northeast Monsoon.
Time for vacation and dry goods and
crops.
