INSET NARRATIVE REPORT
During the second day of teacher training, we started with a prayer, minutes of learning, and an
energizer through a lively dance routine. I discussed building parent-teacher relationships, emphasizing
open communication and involvement in school events. We also covered the importance of workshops
for insights into students' needs and preferences. I also addressed comprehensive sexuality education,
focusing on equipping educators with knowledge and skills for age-appropriate instruction. This covered
reproductive health, consent, gender equality, and promoting healthy relationships. The training not
only explored the complexities of sexuality education but also stressed the importance of delivering it
with sensitivity, respect, and cultural competency for a well-rounded education.

LAC SESSION
January 25, 2024
INSET NARRATIVE REPORT
During the second day of in-service training for teachers, the session commenced with a prayer,
minutes of Learning (MOL), and an energizer to invigorate the participants. The teachers, host, and
officers in charge of the day’s activities led a dance routine, creating a lively atmosphere where all
participants enjoyed following the dance steps shown in the video. Following this energizing start, I
facilitated a discussion on building relationships with parents/guardians and involving them in the
educational process through engagement with the school community. We emphasized the importance
of keeping parents informed and engaged by maintaining open lines of communication, including
avenues such as parent-teacher conferences, informative newsletters, and inclusive school events.
Additionally, we highlighted the significance of workshops and seminars that encourage dialogue
between parents and educators, providing valuable insights into each student's needs and learning
preferences.
