A new series of eight travel
itineraries is now available to guide
visitors across three of Montana’s
most dramatic landscapes with the
launch of “Montana’s Great Wide
Open.”
The new travel initiative
includes a website, complete with
a downloadable map and detailed
itineraries, to help travelers
experience Eastern Montana’s
rugged badlands, Central and
Northeastern Montana’s mighty
Missouri River breaks and the
breathtaking peaks of the Beartooth
Mountains.
A collaboration of tourism
regions created Montana’s Great
Wide Open, including Central
Montana, Montana’s Missouri River
Country, Montana’s Yellowstone
Country and Visit Southeast
Montana. The Montana Department
of Commerce also provided funding.
