ABOUT ME
Dedicated Mechanical Engineer with 1.5 years of work experience in PVC Manufacturing and driving innovative projects
in my academics. Keen interest in manufacturing and problem solving through mechanical design.
WORK EXPERIENCE
01/08/2022 – 13/01/2024 Bangalore, India
GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE ALIAXIS
• Gained valuable experience across various domains, honing my skills in Operations Excellence, Project
Management, Production, Vendor Management, Tool Design, and Manpower Optimization. Achieved Highest
production of 181MT per day ever, in the month July 2023.
• Responsible for operations and maintenance of 22 PVC socketing machines. Converted conventional air cooled
molds into water cooled, resulting in increase productivity by 15%.
• Implementation and project management of projects like IOT digitalization and chemical auto-batching
01/01/2021 – 30/04/2022 Bangalore, India
STEERING ENGINEER DSCE MOTORSPORT
• As a key member of DSCE Motorsport, a student club at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, I played a major
role in the design and analysis of a SAE Supra car. My primary focus was on the steering system, where I led the
design process and conducted torsional analysis using Ansys Workbench.
01/07/2021 – 31/10/2021 Belgaum, India
INTERNSHIP SUN HYDRAULICS
• As an intern I worked along with the workshop manager in manufacturing and assembling of a Hydraulic rubber
molding press.

PROJECTS
Design and Fabrication of Stingray Propulsion Mechanism
• A unique mechanism that mimic the natural propulsion mechanism of a stingray fish, the mechanism is further
developed into a under water robot and tested under water.
• An unusual undulating fin has been created and is entirely powered by single motor. Each fin segment is
constructed of two degrees of freedom. Throughout the course of the project, the undulating propulsion
system's architecture was expanded to replicate stingray swimming. At present, this robot can have forward and
reveres motion. The control architecture made use of Basic Arduino, motor driver and a potentiometer.
Static Structural and Thermal analysis on the 4 stroke piston
• A single cylinder four stroke Piston was designed using advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, with
material compatibility tested through ANSYS simulations. Comparing the results obtained from the software and
theoretical calculations, we could find that aluminium is a superior material compared to grey cast iron which
has more limitations
Manpower optimization and productivity improvement
• Applying the concept of time and motion study through the PVC manufacturing chain, helped me understand the
value added and non-value added activities. Reduction of 17 manpower per shift.
• Proposed and implemented optimization in manpower.
• A vortex chamber L-Joint was tested for the chemical powered spillage line through its L-Joints. Directly impacting
the reduction of power spillage through pipe lines and increase in lifespan of joints.
Overweight Reduction of PVC pipes
• I led a project titled "Overweight Reduction and Rejection Control of PVC Pipes," in Aliaxis India Group(Ashirvad
Pipes), where we conducted a thorough analysis to identify the dominant dimension responsible for 90% of the
pipe's weight. We identified that the uncontrolled wall thickness of pipe was the main cause of access giveaway.
Installation of online pipe weighing machine was the ultimate solution which helped the operator to monitor
weight of each pipe and control the machine accordingly.
• We successfully reduced the rejection rate of one of the socketing machines from 20% to 3%. This achievement
was realized by implementing changes in the machine's operation logic, realigning the machine setup, and
adjusting the cutting length of the PVC pipes.
