Assignment no. 1 “Do You Truly Know Yourself?”
Answer the following questions about your self as fully and precisely as you can
1. How would characterize yourself?
From being a child until now, as I’m getting older, I’ve characterized myself more as a loving and
caring person. I’m also the type of person who doesn’t show silence, but I still observe and feel
what’s happening around me. I easily get annoyed by someone who drains my energy to the
point that I just keep silent and ignore them.
2. What makes you stand out from the rest? What makes yourself special?
For me, I think what makes me stand out to all is that I’m unique. From my name, “Unique,” to all
the unique traits and abilities that I have, I can draw and sketch, and even though I don’t practice
enough of my art skills and have a lack of materials, I can still create a work of art. I think that’s
one of many things that makes me special.
3. How has your self-transformed itself?
Self-transformation is a process that typically involves several steps. It begins when I examine my
own thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and values. This self-awareness helps me identify areas for
improvement or change. Once I have a better understanding of myself, I can easily set specific
goals for my personal growth. I know that transformation can be challenging, so seeking support
from friends and family provides me with encouragement and guidance.
4. How is your self-connected to your body?
I can say that my sense of self is deeply connected to my own body in many ways. My own body is
like a vessel through which I experience the world and am able to interact with others. My
physical appearance and abilities all contribute to my identity and image. Additionally, my body
language, gestures, or movements also reflect the emotions that I feel, which shapes how I see
myself and how others see me.
5. How is your self-related to other selves?
My sense of self is connected to or related to my interactions with other people. I believe that
the concept of ourselves is being shaped by the way others perceive us, the roles that we play in
different social contexts, and the replies or feedback we receive from others. Our relationships
with others provide us with opportunities to discover ourselves, grow, and understand. So, in
essence, our selves both influence and are influenced by other selves within our social sphere.
6. What will happen to yourself after you die?
I believe that when I die, my consciousness ceases to exist, and my body undergoes physical
processes like decomposition. But sometimes I think of that one belief, which is reincarnation. In
many belief systems, reincarnation is the idea that after death, a person’s soul or consciousness is
reborn into a new body. Every time I think of this, I’m thinking of me becoming a beautiful
gradient yellow butterfly in the afterlife.
