Title: Strategy Designing

Aim: To design a strategy by writing steps to market the project you are building

Topic: Market strategy for Electric Vehicle.

Abstract:
It's critical to first pinpoint the target market for an electric vehicle (EV) project
and build a strong brand that reflects their values in order to market it successfully. Utilizing
influencer marketing to reach a larger audience is also crucial, as is developing a strong
online presence through social media and a website. The initiative can gain attention by
participating in industry events, offering discounts and incentives, and cooperating with other
businesses can open up new markets. These methods can be used to create a thorough
marketing plan that piques the interest of stakeholders and potential customers and increases
awareness.
Strategy for marketing:
Objectives:
1. Generating leads and sales.
2. Develop a strong brand
3. Build an online presence
4. Define the target audience
5. Offer promotion and incentives
6. Develop a strong dealer network

Sectors:
One suggestion is that the electric vehicle (EV) industry concentrate on creating a
uniform charging infrastructure. This would entail establishing interoperability between
various charging networks and developing a set of technical specifications for charging
devices and protocols. Regardless of the brand and model of their car or the charging
network they use, this would make it simpler for EV owners to locate and utilize charging
stations.
Making investments in R&D to advance battery technology is another suggestion. This
includes creating novel battery materials and designs that boost energy density, lower costs,
and enhance safety. Reduce range anxiety and promote the use of electric vehicles by
improving the efficiency and dependability of EV batteries.
The development of technical standards and best practices in the electric vehicle industry
can be significantly influenced by ZVEI suggestions. It can aid in accelerating the adoption
of electric vehicles and making them more affordable and practical for customers by
bringing together industry stakeholders to create common standards and norms.

Positioning:
Electric vehicle positioning relates to how they are viewed and positioned in
consumers' thoughts. The process entails creating a USP that sets electric vehicles apart
from conventional gasoline-powered automobiles.

The positioning of electric vehicles typically focuses on the following key factors:

1. Sustainability of the environment: Electric vehicles are positioned as an

environmentally benign substitute for gas-powered vehicles, emphasizing their
capacity to lower carbon emissions and support sustainability of the environment.

2. Savings: Electric vehicles are promoted as a more affordable option to gas-powered

ones by highlighting their lower maintenance and fuel costs.

3. Electric vehicles are marketed as being high-performing and dependable, with

modern characteristics like rapid torque and low noise levels.

4. Technological innovation: With features like regenerative braking and sophisticated

battery management systems, electric vehicles are positioned as cutting-edge and
technologically advanced.

5. Electric vehicles are marketed as being convenient and simple to operate because to
features like remote charging and monitoring.

Overall, the positioning of electric vehicles highlights their distinctive qualities and advantages,
setting them apart from conventional gasoline-powered vehicles and luring buyers who value
environmental responsibility, financial efficiency, and technical innovation.

Programs:
1. Define the target market: Choosing the right target market is the first step in
marketing electric vehicles. Analyze the characteristics, values, and interests of
potential customers. This will make it easier to create a marketing plan that appeals to
them.
2. Create a powerful brand: Develop a brand that reflects the ideals of the intended
market. As important brand ideals, think about convenience, innovation, and
sustainability. Make sure branding and messaging are consistent throughout all
platforms, including the website and social media profiles.
3. Establish a powerful brand: Develop a brand that is consistent with the target market's
values. Think of convenience, innovation, and sustainability as core brand principles.
Watch out for consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms, including
the website and social media profiles.

4. Create an online presence by creating a website that is simple to use, contains detailed
information about electric vehicles, and enables customers to make purchases and
schedule test drives. To interact with potential consumers and develop a following,
create social media profiles on websites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
5. Utilize influencer marketing: Find influencers in the automotive sector that have a
sizable fan base and who have the same values as the brand. Join forces with them to
advertise electric cars through sponsored content, reviews, and other partnerships.

6. Attend industry events to display electric vehicles and network with other industry
professionals. Industry events include trade shows and conferences. This may increase
brand awareness and lead generation.

7. Offer discounts and incentives: Encourage customers to buy electric vehicles by

offering discounts and incentives. Discounts, risk-free trials, and exclusive financing
options could be part of this.

8. Create an effective dealer network: Create an effective dealer network that can
promote electric vehicles and offer after-sales support. This may aid in generating
leads and establishing a base of devoted clients.

9. In order to promote electric automobiles and reach out to new consumers, join forces
with other businesses in the automotive sector. Cross-promotions and cooperative
marketing initiatives may result from this.

10. Inform prospective customers about the advantages of electric vehicles, such as their
cheaper running costs, lesser emissions, and higher efficiency. Social media, content
marketing, and other avenues can all be used for this.

Conclusion: In this tutorial, we learnt that increasing product sales and project brand
recognition may be accomplished by applying market strategy to the product.
