Seating arrangements in a classroom mean the physical layout of the desks and chairs in a

classroom. This can include the arrangement of rows and columns, the positioning of desks and
chairs, and the grouping of student.

My effective type of seating arrangement in my beloved class is the traditional one desks in row

Traditional rows: This is the most common seating arrangement, where students sit in straight rows
facing the front of the room. This arrangement is good for whole-class instruction and individual work.
Importance of Seating Arrangements
Seating arrangements in the classroom play an important role in creating an effective learning
environment. Some of the key reasons why seating arrangements are important include:
Encouraging engagement: Seating arrangements can be designed to encourage students to
participate and interact with each other. For example, group work seating arrangements can help
students work together more effectively.
Facilitating instruction: Seating arrangements can be used to support different teaching styles and
strategies. For example, a U-shape seating arrangement can be useful for whole-group instruction,
while a horseshoe arrangement can be useful for small-group instruction.
Promoting discipline: Seating arrangements can be used to help maintain discipline in the
classroom. For example, seating students facing the front of the room can help keep them focused on
the lesson.
Seating arrangements play a critical role in creating a positive and productive learning environment
that supports student engagement and learning, and can help teachers to maximize their instructional
efforts.

What teaching roles would you employ in your classroom?

 Providing mentorship: There’s a direct connection between a caring and knowledgeable

teacher and a secure and motivated learner. ...
 Inspire learners :Teachers should be prepared to intervene at any point to help students learn.
Instead of thinking of teachers as educators of specific subjects, such as science, language or
math, you want them to be creative and nurture a love of learning in their students.
 Nurture healthy curiosity in learners : teacher’s responsibility to encourage students to take
charge of their learning journey Stimulate your students’ curiosity by encouraging valuable
questions and tinkering, looking for teachable moments, and building lessons around current
events and critical thinking.
 authority technology to support learning: Modern teaching goals should be about helping
students parse information, think critically, solve problems, query information sources and make
educated decisions Computers, laptops, and tablets can allow you to enhance your lesson plans
with online educational activities
 Lecturer/ tutor: This is the most common role that a teacher takes on in a classroom. When they
are reading from the textbook and just doing what most teachers do in the classroom, it is a
lecturing or tutoring role. it can be one with high involvement from the student’s side. When
there’s high involvement from both the teacher and the students, there are better chances of the
concept being conveyed in a better way and the lesson would stay with the students for longer.
 Work as a team: Splitting the class up into different teams to complete an assignment is a
teaching strategy that works wonders
 Let the students teach: The goal of this strategy is to get your students to display the knowledge
they have and to share it with their classmates.
 Encourage learning from experience: The best lessons often happen outside of the classroom
Getting out into the real world offers a new perspective for children and can help them gain a
more profound understanding of what goes on in the classroom.
 EXPECT :Expect excellence from every student
 Quiz :switched to a quick quiz to go over what each student has learned I give them some alone
time
 VIDEO :video the class play back the video in class and discuss the behavior-good and bad
