My name is Nanaki Theodore . I am twenty years old. I am in Primary
Five in Roland Primary School. The day I enjoyed being in school most
was 8th March. This day is celebrated as the World Women’s Day. It is
celebrated so as to remember the contributions of women towards
development in the world .
On that day, I woke up at five o’clock in the morning and did housework,
then I went to school. My father drove me to school. At seven o’clock in
the morning, we went to church to have Mass as a school. The Mass was
led by [Link]. Romeo Kasiano. During Mass, the main celebrant preached
about love and respect for each other, especially the women.
After Mass, the teachers went to Mukeke Resort Hotel to continue with
the celebrations. Our teacher of entertainment, Mr. Jamwero Deo,
brought for us a music system at school. Having had lunch, we all put on
our dance shoes and danced to the fullest. I ate two platefuls of chicken
and rice and drank a big bottle of soda. The day was really joyous. When
I grow up, I will make sure I become responsible woman.
