They gave me with excellent knowledge that enabled me in grasping all of the
fundamentals of this project, as well as resolving any concerns I had about the
project. I would also want to appreciate the library department and academic
support of Symbiosis Law School, Noida for providing me with various research
sources and resources to assist me create the most unique project possible. I'd also

could learn the essential knowledge about English (Communication Skills) simply,
competently, and completely.

ABSTRACT
For this English (Communication Skills) ICE Project, I chose to write about the
recent case of murder which happened in Spokane County, Washington, United
States. I chose to write about this case as social media made the murderer ‘Hero’
for his act. So, as to complete the project as well as to look deep into the case I
chose this murder case. I would write about this case in both perspectives as how
social media is portraying this case as well as how legally this case is binding. The
murderer is ‘60-year-old John Eisenman’ currently he is arrested and is Spokane
County Jail for the First-degree murder he committed, and his trial is in process.
The story line is based upon the news published as well as the statements made by
the Spokane Police Department.

STORY LINE

It all came to light on October 22, 2021, when the SPD (Spokane Police Department) arrived to
the 1800 E Everett neighborhood in reference to an abandoned car with a bad stench emerging
from it. Officers spoke with many people who said they thought the body of a deceased person
was in the trunk. The authorities confirmed the presence of human remains within the car.
Spokane Major Crime Unit (MCU) investigators took up the case after the discovery of the
human remains and canvassed tirelessly to unravel the complicated case. The victim, a 19-year-
old man, was recognized.
Following the identification of the 19-year-old youth on October 29, 2021, John Eisenman, 60,
was arrested and charged for first-degree murder and now his case in on calendar, soon he will
be on death row.
Following John Eisenman's arrest, the entire case came into focus, as he confirmed, de re and
indicated that he learned his teenage daughter was reportedly sold to a sex-trafficking group in
the Seattle region and was confined. He learned that his daughter's lover (the deceased) was
maybe the one responsible for her selling.
He was able to rescue his daughter and return her to the Spokane region in October 2020 after
learning more about her. He later discovered that his daughter's boyfriend will be in Airway
Heights, WA in November 2020. So, to exact his vengeance, he took a capricious decision and
went there and waited for her lover, without keeping his mind in check he abducted him and then
tied him up disabling his motor ability and threw him in the trunk of a car. He tormented and
abused her lover, killing him without any compulsion, by bashing him in the head with a cinder
block and stabbing him repeatedly.
Taking vengeance on her daughter, John Eisenman drove that vehicle to a remote area in North
Spokane County and abandoned the car there without being noticed in order to conceal his deed,
and the vehicle remained parked there until October 2021, when someone drove the vehicle with
the remains to Spokane and the vehicle was abandoned at Everett, where some people while
wandering smelt the odour and made the discovery that brought this case to light. He is now
being held in the Spokane County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
The news broke out and caught the attention of everyone as it reached social media, for the
bravery and love for her daughter, the social media gave John Eisenman the title of 'Hero' for his
act to kill his daughter's boyfriend as he did right to that 19-year-old person for what he did to
that poor girl. Without considering the legal implications, social media congratulated him for
what he, nonetheless he being added in the class of criminals but it happened due to his own
culpa.
But, In the concordia cum veritate the act committed by John Eisenman defies canon as it is a
first-degree murder and the punishment for that is death penalty or life imprisonment. In India,

de facto its specifically written under 2IPC Section 302 “Whoever commits murder shall be
punished with death, or imprisonment for life and shall also be liable to fine.” The act done by
John Eisenman is not justified de jure but its justified when we look at it from a father’s
perspective its communis opinio.
