• Designed for top production and
equipped for drilling angled
exploration holes using center
sample recovery system (CSR), with
either rotary or DTH drilling method.
The D25KX exploration drill can also
be equipped for diamond core
drilling and is equaslly suited for
conventional drilling.
• Features a sliding mast, which can
be positioned at any angle from
vertical to 45 o. A hydraulic cylinder
then slides the base of the mast
downward, with 8 feet of mast travel
to contact the ground providing
precise angle drilling.
• A unique boom crane assembly
with winch, for drill pipe loading
rotates 359o and is controlled by
the drill helper at virtually any
adjacent location by hand held
electric remote control. The system
allows for simple addition and
removal of drill pipe while the mast
remains in either vertical or the angle
drilling position. This loader system
allows the use of various sizes and
types of drill pipes adding versatility
as demanded by exploration
contractors
• Superior engineering provides low
stress in all high load areas. Low
alloy, high strength steel is used in
frame and mast construction
assemblies.
• Feed 28 fpm or 104 fpm and retract
20 fpm or 72.5 fpm , hydraulic
cylinder and chains pulldown system
with 28’ (8.5 m) stroke. Pullback is
rated 30,000 lbs* (13,608 kg) and
pulldown 20,500 lbs.* (9,299 kg)
