PROCESS OF pH DETECTION TEST-
Step-1 Take 1gm sample in beaker.
Step-2 add 100ml of DM water and mix it well by heating on
Step-3 after this left the sol. for 5min for cold .
Step-4 and then take pH reading from pH meter.
(If the reading is less than 7 it means the solution is acidic and if
the reading is more than 7then it shows sample is basic in
nature.)
PROCESS OF ACTIVE DETERGENT TEST-
Step-1 Take 3 gm sample in beaker.
Step-2 add 100 ml DM water and mix it well by heating on hot
plate.
Step-3 take volumetric flask and add 500ml of DM water with
sample solution.
Step-4 then, add 15 ml chloroform with 25 ml methyle blue in
cylindrical flask.
Step-5 after this , take 10 ml of solution from the measuring
flask through pippete and add this solution in cylindrical flask.
Step-6 now, titrate this solution with 0.004N solution.
Step-7 titration is continuous until and unless it changes its
colour into dark blue.

Process of foam height test-
Step-1 collect 5gm sample in 250ml beaker.
Step-2 add 100ml distilled water and dissolve completely
at hot plate .
Step-3 transfer the solution in the 500ml standard
volumetric flask and make up 500ml sol. With DM water.
Step-4 collect 10ml solution from the volumetric flask
and transfer in measuring cylinder and make up with
100ml DM water.
Step-5 shake 20 times and measure foam heigh.
Calculation-
