INTRODUCTION.
Magdalena: (with a certain shudder) A minute of calm, come and see... Damn.
Gustavo approaches the Director's main desk, half expectant and fearful, and barely whispers a
languid: Good morning!
Magdalena: (quite furious) . I never imagined that the day would come when I would have to fire one
of my most special employees, in thirty-two years of my career in this great company I have never
had to fire anyone. I don't understand Gustavo. Why did you grant me the painful privilege of saying
goodbye to Turbo? Oh? Let's see, be macho and answer me then.
Gustavo: (already excited). First of all, I did not give you a painful privilege as you proudly describe it.
Furthermore, you, better than anyone, have the answer to the insipid question you asked me. You
know very well that I satisfy your bodily needs like no one else has ever done before, and don't worry
about that. You have the slightest doubt, but if not agreeing to your baseness causes me to leave the
Company, then let it be known plainly that I am upright and that I am upright and therefore, rather
than giving you the painful privilege of firing me, I want you to Please know that from this moment I
present to you irrevocable resignation from my position. And if that makes me more macho, then I'm
more macho, yes ma'am, so what?
Magdalena who explodes in anger and gets up from her office chair, contains herself for a moment
and takes a breath before saying:
-Okay, you piece of sewer rat, what are you waiting to get out of? Stupid, stupid, a thousand times
stupid animal.
Gustavo still exalted: NO no no ma'am, don't go away, I'm not going to fall into provocations like the
ones you incite. He's not going to be able to get rid of me as easily as he wants to make it seem. Yes,
ma'am, what ironies of life, first to go from seeing a happy and excited face after spending many
nights in the same bed together, exhausted with pleasure, to this nonsense you are doing, now,
calling me a sewer rat, madam. What a joke! baseness for God! and all because I did not want to fall
into your base passions, you are looking like Potiphar's wife and I like poor Joshua.
Gustavo continues saying: But I'm still going to miss you, because I love you, as I know that you love
me, but more than giving me courage, I feel sorry for you and for your poor soul blinded by visceral
hatred that you don't feel and that doesn't even let him see the things in life. So I'm leaving, it
doesn't bother me, I'm not going to give him the pleasure of telling me 'You're fired', ever. So
goodbye, it was a pleasure to have given twenty-five years of my life to this job, well, if this
pantomime can be called a job.
After which Gustavo gets up from his chair and goes to the door, opens it and proceeds to leave, then
closes the door very forcefully.
