• An Australian bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification in a cognate discipline 5 with at least a credit (60%) average or an equivalent GPA as determined by the University,
plus a minimum of three years of relevant work experience subject to the School’s approval 6, or
• An Australian bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification in a cognate discipline 5 plus a minimum of five years of relevant work experience subject to the School’s approval 6.

• A master’s degree that entails work, normally including a significant research component, including at least 25% of one full-time equivalent year of work, including a thesis. It is normally
expected that a grade of honours 2A has been obtained for the research thesis or project. Where ungraded, examiner’s reports will be taken into account; or
• Have qualifications which in the opinion of the Graduate Research Committee and Monash Graduate Research Office are deemed equivalent.
