"Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfill your own purpose
and
potential," a quote by Kenny Washington.
A lovely evening to one and all!
This ceremony is not just about our academic achievements but also a moment to express our appreciation
to those who have supported us along the way and to reflect on those experiences that shaped us into the
individuals we are today.
This moving up ceremony is indeed remarkable. Looking back four years ago, we did not experience a
graduation ceremony in elementary because of the Covid-19 pandemic. We spent our first and second
years in high school undertaking modular classes. Thankfully, the Covid-19 pandemic subsided, and face-
to-face classes resumed during our last two years in junior high school.
Throughout our time together, we have learned lessons that will last a lifetime and created memories that
we will cherish forever. Despite the ups and downs, failures, and disappointments, our dedication has
prevailed. Those failures fueled us to persevere, to strive even harder to fulfill our goals. As Albert Einstein
said, "Life is like riding a bicycle; to maintain your balance, you must keep moving."
I would like to take this opportunity, to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers of MLDNHS for your
dedication, commitment, and for being our second parents. Ma'am and Sir, thank you for your teaching,
encouragement, and guidance.
To my adviser, Sir Roj, thank you, sir! I have always been grateful that you are our adviser. You never
failed to inspire us during class, while also helping us learn. Thank you for being a father figure when I
needed one. For your support, and for always believing that we can do it. Like you've said, "Life is full of
challenges," but you have to be strong to overcome them. Because of you, I've learned to stand on my
own, and you gave us a reason to always be hopeful for tomorrow. Thank you, sir!
To my friends and classmates, thank you for those unforgettable bonds. I will miss our group studies, last-
minute practices, jamming sessions, laughter, support in school activities, and much more. We have faced
challenges head-on and celebrated victories together. We have laughed, cried, and grown in ways we
never imagined. You mean a lot to me, and I hope each one of us will carry those lessons and memories
throughout our journey and succeed in every field we choose.
To my family…
Nay, this is a testament of your love, support, and sacrifices. You have stood tall and worked tirelessly just
to provide for us. Thank you, Nay!
To my sisters, especially my eldest sister, thank you for being there for me throughout my school
endeavors. For being my makeup artist, cheerleader, and constant companion. I can't thank you enough for
everything, and I hope I can give back to you someday.
To my father,
Tay, you've always been my inspiration, and I wish you were here to witness one of the most memorable
chapters in my life. Tay, this is all for you, and I hope I have made you proud.
Most of all, I couldn't have done it without you, dear God. Your presence has been our source of strength
and wisdom. Thank you for guiding our steps and for filling our hearts with courage. May you continue to fill
our minds with knowledge and ignite our spirits with faith.
In closing, I express my deepest gratitude to all who have been a part of this incredible journey. Thank you
for believing in us, supporting us, and guiding us towards this unforgettable day. Your impact will be felt far
beyond these halls, and for that, we are forever thankful.
Congratulations, Class of 2023-2024! Our future awaits, and I am grateful to have shared this journey with
all of you.
Thank you so much!
