I write to express my keen interest in pursuing the FCPS-II Orthopaedic Surgery Training
Program under the esteemed Health Department of the Government of Sindh at Pakistan Navy
Ship(PNS)-SHIFA Karachi. With a strong educational background and relevant clinical
experiences, I am excited about the opportunity to further my professional development in the
field of orthopaedic surgery.
My name is Dr. Mukesh Kumar, son of Chetan Das Kolhi, and I graduated from Liaquat
University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro in 2019. Following my
graduation, I undertook a comprehensive house job at Liaquat University Hospital during the
academic year 2020-21, where I gained valuable clinical exposure and honed my foundational
skills in patient care and medical management.
Moreover, I have recently completed my FCPS-II General Surgery Training at Muhammad
Medical College, Mirpurkhas, under the mentorship of Professor Syed Razi Muhammad. This
training period, from January 2023 to January 2024, provided me with a robust foundation in
surgical principles, patient care, and professional responsibilities. My experiences during this
training further fueled my passion for surgical specialties and reinforced my commitment to
delivering exceptional patient care.
I am now eager to broaden my expertise and specialize in the field of orthopaedic surgery. The
prospect of training under the esteemed Health Department of the Government of Sindh excites
me, and I am eager to contribute positively to the healthcare landscape of our province.
I am confident that the comprehensive and dynamic training offered under the FCPS-II
Orthopaedic Surgery Program will equip me with the requisite knowledge, surgical skills, and
professionalism needed to serve the community and uphold the highest standards of orthopaedic
care.
I am committed to dedicating myself wholeheartedly to this program, and I am enthusiastic about
the potential to make a meaningful impact on the orthopaedic healthcare landscape within Sindh.
