ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL SYSTEM

 System reduces the amplitude of main rotor induced

vibration. Force generating actuators are used to cancel
these effects.
 System consists of an AVC computer, a Vibration Control
Actuator System (VCAS), and accelerometers.
 Provides vibration reduction comparable to passive
absorbers, but with a ~58 lb weight reduction
 Adaptive to flight regime and loading
 Not sensitive to rotor speed
