1. Introduction
School Management system will be the complete management system that will
work for any school. This project is meant to help the school so that they can
manage their task easily. Most of the small schools manage the records
manually and they don’t have any software so for their schools, with this
School Management System they will be able to manage their records on the
computer. Some big schools are managing their records on a local MS Access
database like student’s information. They use another software to print their
monthly fee challans. So this project is to help those kinds of school so that
they can manage all their information in just a single software.
2. Objective
To design a system that will help schools to maintain their GR (Student’s
Information), Monthly Fee Maintenance, Student’s Progress Report.
3. Problem Description
The School Management System will contain all the information about the
school. This system will be like a computerized GR “Grand Register” of the
school in which all the information of their students will be stored there. The
software will keep all the information about the student as well as the fee
record and examination results. With the help of this software, schools can
find any previous student in just a matter of seconds. They can see how many
students are remaining, who have not paid their monthly tuition fee. They can
print all the challans of the month in just one click, they can also print a
duplicate challan of a student in just one click by going to the student’s profile.
4. Methodology
I will create The School Management System in C++ Programming Language.
I will use the Object Oriented Approach (OOP) approach to code my program.
5. Project Scope
This project can help schools to ease their work. Now most of the schools are
doing their work manually so this project will help them to do their work on
computers. This will save a lot of their efforts and time.
6. Solution Application Areas
This project will help small educational institutions to do their jobs on
computers.
7. Tools/Technology
A computer with fair speed is the only hardware that is required for this
project.
Microsoft Visual Studio is required to create the project.
8. Expertise of the Team Members
A coding skill is most crucial for this project as a person is required who is
advanced in coding/programming.
A person who knows cloud-computing is also required for this project as this
project has to keep a backup of the data on a server.
10. Milestones
3 months will be spent on the research on what schools basically need and
what features should be included in the system.
1 month is for designing the look and working of the project.
2 months are for coding the project
2 month are for testing of the systems and fixing bugs if found.
