Scene 1: The Royal Decree
(The stage is set with a palace backdrop. The villagers are gathered, talking amongst
themselves. The Narrator stands at the side of the stage.)
Narrator: In the land of Malaysia, there was a wise and just king named Rajah. He had a
beautiful daughter named Lakshmi, who was loved by all. But one day, a dark cloud loomed
over the kingdom.
(Rajah enters, looking worried. The villagers look at him with concern.)
Rajah: (raising his hand) My people, our land is suffering from a terrible drought. The crops are
failing, and our water sources are drying up.
Villager 1: What shall we do, Your Majesty?
Rajah: (with determination) We must seek the sacred lotus, Bunga Teratai. It is said to have the
power to bring rain and restore life to our land. But beware, it is guarded by the serpent spirit,
Nagini.
Scene 2: The Brave Warrior
(The stage changes to a humble village home. Vishal, a brave warrior, enters and kneels before
Rajah and Lakshmi.)
Narrator: Hearing the king's plea, a brave warrior named Vishal stepped forward, determined to
save his people.
Vishal: (bowing) Your Majesty, Princess Lakshmi, I will embark on this quest to find Bunga
Teratai and bring it back to our kingdom.
Lakshmi: (placing a hand on Vishal’s shoulder) Be careful, Vishal. The path is dangerous, and
Nagini is a formidable guardian.
Rajah: (nodding) Go with my blessings, brave warrior. May the gods protect you.
(Vishal nods and exits, determined.)
Scene 3: The Serpent Spirit
(The stage is set in a mystical forest with a glowing lotus in the center. Nagini, the serpent spirit,
coils protectively around the lotus. Vishal enters cautiously.)
Narrator: Vishal journeyed through treacherous lands and finally reached the sacred lotus,
Bunga Teratai. But as he approached, Nagini, the serpent spirit, appeared.
Nagini: (hissing) Who dares to approach Bunga Teratai?
Vishal: (standing firm) I am Vishal, a warrior of this land. Our kingdom is in great need of the
lotus's power to bring rain and end the drought.
Nagini: (with a sly smile) Many have tried and failed. Why should I trust you?
Vishal: (earnestly) I seek not for myself, but for my people. We are suffering, and only the lotus
can save us.
Nagini: (considering) Very well. Prove your sincerity by answering this riddle: What is the one
thing that binds all life, yet is unseen?
Vishal: (after a moment of thought) It is love. Love binds us all, though we cannot see it.
Nagini: (nodding) You have answered wisely. Take the lotus and save your people.
(Nagini steps aside, allowing Vishal to take Bunga Teratai.)
Scene 4: The Miracle of Bunga Teratai
(The stage returns to the palace with villagers gathered, looking up at the sky. Vishal enters
triumphantly, holding Bunga Teratai.)
Narrator: With the sacred lotus in hand, Vishal returned to the kingdom. The villagers gathered
in anticipation as he presented it to Rajah and Lakshmi.
Vishal: (kneeling and offering the lotus) Your Majesty, Princess Lakshmi, I have brought back
Bunga Teratai.
Rajah: (taking the lotus) Thank you, brave warrior. Now, let us place the lotus in the sacred
water.
(Rajah places the lotus in a bowl of water. Soft music plays as rain begins to fall.)
Villagers: (cheering) The rain! The rain has returned!
Lakshmi: (smiling at Vishal) You have saved us all, Vishal.
Rajah: (raising his hands) Let this day be remembered as the day our land was saved by the
brave Vishal and the power of Bunga Teratai.
(The villagers dance and celebrate as the rain continues to fall. The Narrator steps forward.)
Narrator: And so, the kingdom was saved, and prosperity returned. The legend of Bunga
Teratai and the bravery of Vishal were forever etched in the hearts of the people.
(The stage lights dim as the villagers continue to celebrate, and the rain gently falls.)
Narrator: (with a gentle smile) May we always remember the power of love and bravery.
(Curtain falls.)
