A. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

PROTECT DOOR SYS S160

SECURITY GRILL SYSTEM
The Security Grill-Protect Door system S160 is a complete, and versatile security grill system de-
signed for upmarket residential and commercial applications where a simple and affordable security
grills are required. Made of aluminium components, it has a limited burglar resistance.

Aesthetics Site Installation

Traditional installation in tunnel or face fixing.
The system is designed around pure lines with no
visible grooves or cavities making the sytem aes-
thetic and easy to maintain.
Jamb and head profiles have concealed fixing.
Single or double cross link options. Maximum Sash Size (recommended)
Square cuts for assembly with strong plastic Many factors have to be taken into consideration when
connecting pieces for neat finish. finalizing a maximum size and the sizes below are recom-
mendations only.
Height 2400mm H
Width 4400mm W (In two ways slide protect door)
Structure
Minimum wall thickness of profiles is 2.5mm.
Stainless steel blind rivets.
Tubular profile for higher structural performance.

Manufacturing
Simple assembly with pre-punched profiles for
precision
One size profiles to cater for a variety of sizes

A. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT

PROTECT DOOR SYS S160

SECURITY GRILL SYSTEM

General
The Security Grill system shall be the S160 as supplied by JMD International ltd.
Manufacture shall be in accordance with the manuals as provided by JMD International Ltd.

Materials
Outer frames, lock styles, studs, cross links shall be of 6063T5 aluminium alloy with critical
minimum wall thickness of 2.5mm. All outer frame and sash to be tubular for rigidity and
torsional stiffness. (Refer to manuals).

Construction
Outer frame corner junctions shall be 90° straight joints connected with plastics connecting
cleats and stainless less rivets. Lock styles and studs shall be square cut and connected with
plastic guides and rollers and stainless steel rivets. Cross links to be connected with stainless
steel rivets to hidden plastics guide inside studs.

Hardware
Different type of locks are available and to be as specified and as recommended and in
accordance with the product manuals.

Finish
Sections will be finished powder coated in accordance to GB Standard or Qualicoat label or
other standard on demand.
