Stopping the machine
- Take your foot off the accelerator (3).
1 - Press the brake pedal (4) and stop the truck in a gentle,
2 controlled manner.
WARNING
Sudden braking and acceleration may cause
the machine to roll or tip.
Risk of serious injury and damage to vehicle.
Avoid violent acceleration and braking.
CAUTION
Do not use the gearbox as a brake.

- When the truck has stopped completely, engage the par-
king brake (2) before releasing the brake pedal.
- Put the driving direction control (1) into neutral.
Driving backwards
Changing the direction of driving
1 CAUTION
The truck must be completely stopped before
changing the direction of driving.
Serious damage may be inflicted on the gear
box and drive axel.
- Pull the driving direction control (1) backwards.
- Release the parking brake (2).
- Depress the accelerator (3) slowly so that the truck starts
gently.

NOTE
When starting uphill, hold the machine stationary with
brakepedal (4) until you have obtained sufficient pulling po-
wer. Always start in the lowest gear.
