Resolution No. 39-2017
A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK
REDUCTION MANAGEMENT FUNDS (BDRRMF) OF THE BARANGAY IN THE
AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED NINETY SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY
THREE AND 85/100 PESOS ONLY (P196,853.85) FOR BUDGETARY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the BDRRM fund of this barangay aims to build the disaster resilience of
the community for reducing disaster risk and enhancing disaster preparedness and response
capabilities of our ERT and BDRRMC;
WHEREAS, IRR of RA 10121; rule 18 section 2 states that the amount appropriated for
the BDRRM fund of 30% shall be allocated to the Quick Response Fund (QRF) or stand by fund
for relief and recovery programs;
WHEREAS, Social assistance to HH affected by the disaster shall strictly attached with
the following rules attachment/procedures: a) report of damages; b) certification of the Barangay
Chairman; c) validation of reports; and d) photos;
WHEREAS, The Barangay Development Council, of this barangay adheres to adapt the
universal norms, principles and standards of humanitarian assistance to overcome human
suffering due to recurring disaster and/or calamities;
WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation, the honorable body of this Barangay concurs the
appropriation of BDRRM fund in the amount of P196,853.85 to be allocated and/or due to the
following:
PREVENTION AND MITIGATION 52,553.86
PREPAREDNESS 52,689.29
RESPONSE 51,610.70
REHABILITATION 40,000.00
HEREBY RESOLVED, AS IT IS;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution is to be furnished to the office of
the MDRRMO, Honorable Sanggunian Bayan, MBO, MGOO and other related offices for their
guidance and appropriate action.
