A. Reviewing the previous lesson a. Preparatory activities- Prayer, greetings, check of
attendance, and announcements.
b. Drills and Review- The teacher will briefly review the
last lesson on context clues by asking a few students to
share their experiences using context clues to
understand new words.
B. Establishing a purpose for the Motivation- Show a video clip that explains the
lesson importance of citing sources in academic work.
C. Presenting examples/instances
of the new lesson Unlocking of Difficulties- Introduce different citation
styles (APA, MLA, Chicago) using a PowerPoint presentation.

The teacher discuss why citing sources is crucial in
research and writing. Highlight the consequences of
plagiarism. The teacher will show a video clip about
“Plagiarism”.
