How to affix the FASTag on the windshield of your vehicle

Ensure that the vehicle windshield is


clean and dry

Remove the adhesive tape from


the Tag

Place the Tag at the centre of the


windshield from the inside so that it is
behind the rear-view mirror

The Tag must appear like this on


the windshield

Keep the Tag in a cool and dry place


Affix the FASTag on the windshield of the vehicle as per the directions given
in the ‘How to stick the FASTag on the windshield of your vehicle’ screen.
Not affixing the same will lead to penalties from regulators
Ensure that the windshield is clean before sticking the Tag

Maintain sufficient balance in your FASTag Account

You should have only one Tag for one vehicle

If you have purchased a new FASTag from a different Issuing Bank for the same vehicle against which you already
have an ICICI Bank FASTag, then ICICI Bank will be liable to disable your FASTag as per regulatory directives. You
can close your FASTag Wallet and receive the refund (if any) within 15 working days of raising the Tag Closure
request.

Don’ts

Don’t stick adhesives/tape on the FASTag

Don’t remove the adhesive tape of the Tag till you are about to stick
it on the vehicle windshield

Don’t remove the Tag once it has been affixed on the windshield of your vehicle

Don’t fold it or keep it in your pocket

Don’t buy multiple Tags for one vehicle

Don’t carry the Tag in your hand

Don’t write on the Tag with a pen, pencil or any sharp object

Don’t keep the Tag in damp places

How to recharge
If you already have an ICICI Bank Savings/Current Account, you can recharge your
Tag through the following modes

iMobile Pay

1 Log in to iMobile Pay using your User ID and Password


2 Select the ‘ICICI FASTag’ icon on the dashboard
3 Select the ‘Vehicle Recharge’ icon
iMobile Pay
4 Enter the ‘Vehicle Number’
5 Enter the ‘Recharge Amount’ and the details of the Account to be debited
6 Confirm the details & proceed

Internet Banking

1 Log in to ICICI Bank Internet Banking using your User ID and Password
2 Select the ‘Payments & Transfers’ section from the dropdown menu
3 Click on ‘Buy/Recharge FASTag’ and select ‘Recharge’
4 Select ‘Vehicle Recharge’. Enter the Vehicle Registration Number
and the amount
5 Enter the OTP and click on ‘Pay Now’ to complete the recharge

How to recharge
If you do not have an ICICI Bank Savings/Current Account, you can recharge it
through the following modes

FASTag customer portal

1 Click Here to log in to the FASTag portal using your User ID and Password

2 Click on the ‘Payment’ section in the dropdown menu and select ‘Recharge Account’

3 Select the Tag Account you wish to recharge and enter the recharge amount

4 Select a mode from the available options and click on ‘Continue’

5 Enter the payment details to complete the payment.

To automatically recharge your FASTag Account when the balance dips below the threshold limit,
set up Standing Instructions (SI) on Internet Banking/iMobile Pay/UPI by logging into the FASTag
portal.

Update Vehicle Number/Upload Registration Certificate (RC)
If the new Tag has been purchased on the basis of the Vehicle Identification Number/Chassis
Number/Engine Number or other such details, it is important to update the Vehicle Registration Number
(VRN) with us within <60> days from the purchase of the new Tag. If the VRN is not updated within <60>
days, then the Tag will be blacklisted/closed/blocked/freeze marked and other applicable penalties will be
levied.
You can update your Vehicle Number or upload your RC copy through WhatsApp Banking:

1 Save ICICI Bank’s official WhatsApp number <+91 86400 86400>


2 Open WhatsApp using your registered mobile number
3 Send a ‘Hi’ on <+91 86400 86400> to start WhatsApp Banking

4 Select ‘FASTag Services’ in the ‘All Services’ section


5 Select ‘Update Vehicle Number’ in ‘FASTag Services’

To update vehicle number through WhatsApp Banking

1 The ‘Existing Licence Plate Number’ will be auto-populated


2 Enter the ‘New Licence Plate Number’ and click on
‘Confirm New Licence Plate Number’
3 Upload the ‘RC Document’
4 Click on the ‘Update’ button MH XX XXXXX

To upload RC through WhatsApp Banking

1 The ‘Existing Licence Plate Number’ field will be


auto-populated

2 Enter the ‘New Licence Plate Number’ and click on


‘Confirm New Licence Plate Number’
3 Upload the ‘RC Document’

4 Click on the ‘Update’ button

Dispute or chargeback

In case of any dispute or error in toll charges incurred, contact us by raising a query
on the FASTag portal. The steps are:

1 Click Here to log in to the FASTag portal using your User ID and Password

2 Click on ‘Helpdesk’ in the top right menu. Then, click on ‘Raise Request/Complaint’

3 Select the Type as ‘Dispute Transaction/Chargeback’

4 Select ‘Subtype’# and enter the other details*.

5 Click on the ‘Submit’ button

Important

• Any dispute-related queries need to be raised within 30 days from the transaction date
• The issue will be resolved within 25 working days after the complaint has been raised.
