PROVINCIAL MEET 2023
GROUND RULES (TENNIS EVENT)
1. A team shall be grouped into three (3) categories, namely: Singles A,
Singles B and Singles C.
2. Single Elimination format will be used in the entire tournament
3. All matches in the entire tournament will be played in Straight-8 game,
Deciding
Point, Tie break at 7 all.
4. There will be a 15-minute grace period given to a team/player to report to
the
respective playing area. Failure to appear after minutes will automatically
lose the game.
5. The International Tennis Federation (ITF) rules and regulations shall govern
the
conduct of the competition unless modified and superseded by ground rules
agreed upon by all school coaches and officiating officials during the
solidarity
meeting and approved by the technical and executive committees.
6. Other unforeseen occurrences which are not covered by the ITF rules shall
be
dealt with by the Technical Management Committee where the decisions
will be
final.
7. Protest must be submitted to the Tournament Manager in writing within
thirty
(30) minutes after the event has been through, duly signed by the coach
and
delegation head of the school.
8. Champion in three (3) categories will automatically represent BULACAN in
the
Regional Meet
9. In the selection of coaches, the conditions below will take effect
accordingly:
- 1. Most number of gold medals earned in the tournament.
- 2. Most number of players who qualifies for the Provincial Meet
- 3. The knowledge and attitude of the coach
