Video Creation Instructions
1. Software Options: You can use any video recording software or application, such as:
○ Microsoft Teams
2. Recording Your Presentation:
○ Slides: Use your presentation slides that you have already created for the
assignments.
○ Set Up Your Camera: Position your camera so that your face is clearly visible in
the right corner of the video and use a non disturbing background(white
background is better)
○ Speak Clearly: Practice your presentation to ensure you communicate your
points effectively.
3. Final Steps:
○ Save Your Video: Use the following naming format: [Your Registration
ID]_[Unit Number] (e.g., 123456_Unit1).
○ Check Video Quality: Make sure your audio and video are clear before
uploading.
4. Uploading Your Video:
○ Follow the link to the appropriate folder for each unit in Google Drive. Ensure you
upload each video to the correct folder.

How to Record Your Presentation Video in Microsoft Teams
1. Set Up Your Meeting:
○ Open Microsoft Teams and go to the calendar.
○ Click on "New Meeting" and schedule a meeting for yourself. You can name it
something like "Presentation Recording."
2. Join the Meeting:
○ Once the meeting time arrives, join the meeting by clicking on it in your calendar.
3. Prepare Your Presentation:
○ Before recording, open your presentation (PowerPoint or other) on your screen.
Make sure it’s ready to display.
4. Start Recording:
○ In the meeting, click on the More actions button (three dots) in the meeting
controls.
○ Select Start recording. A notification will appear to let all participants know that
recording has started.
5. Share Your Screen:
○ Click on the Share content button (an icon with an arrow pointing upward).
○ Choose the window or screen where your presentation is displayed. This will
share your slides with everyone in the meeting (you can also share the entire
screen if preferred).
6. Present Your Slides:
○ Begin your presentation. Speak clearly and engage with your audience as if they
were there.
○ You can use the "Presenter View" in PowerPoint to see your notes while sharing
your slides.
7. Stop Recording:
○ When you’ve finished your presentation, go back to the More actions button and
select Stop recording. A notification will inform you that the recording has
stopped.
8. Access Your Recording:
○ After the meeting ends, the recording will be processed and saved to Microsoft
Stream. You’ll receive a link to the recording via email, or you can find it in the
Chat section under the meeting entry.
9. Download Your Video (if needed):
○ Go to the recording link in Microsoft Stream.
○ Click on the More actions button (three dots) and select Download to save the
video file to your computer.
