Electromagnetic spectrum

Today, we are standing before you to talk about a fascinating topic that is essential to our modern
world – the electromagnetic spectrum.
As we all know that electromagnetic waves that are also known as electromagnetic radiation are
produced by acceleration or movement of electron and this generate electric current and this
produce electric and magnetic field but the main topic which we will discussed on are the two main
types of electromagnetic waves which are known as radiowaves and microwaves Now my
fellow__________________ tell you about radio waves
Radio Waves
Radio waves have the longest wavelength in the electromagnetic spectrum. It can be divided into
two types first long medium and short waves that are wavelengths of 2km to 10m
Second the very high frequency VHF and ultra high frequency waves that are of wavelength of 10 m
to 10cm
These shorter wavelength radio waves need a clear,straight-line path to receiver and are not
reflected Now my fellow _______________ will tell you about it uses with examples
Uses
● They are radiated from aerials and used to carry sound pictures and other information over
long distances long medium and short waves(wavelength of 2 km to 10m)
● These diffract round obstacles so we can receive even when hills are in their way. They are
also reflected by layers of electricity charged particles in the upper atmosphere (the
ionosphere) which makes long distance radio reception possible
● Astronomers use radio telescope to pick up radio signals from stars and Galaxy to gain
about the universe which cannot be obtained from optical telephone
For examples radio Noise produced by lightning and other natural processing in the Earth's
atmosphere and astronomical radio sources in space
Now my fellow ____________________ will discuss about microwaves
Microwaves
Microwave are the ways that have Wavelengths of a few centimeters
For example microwave oven
stars including the sun are natural microwave source
Uses
● They are used for international telecommunications and direct broadcast satellite television
really via geostationary setellites
● For mobile Phone networks via microwave aerial towers and low orbit satellites
● Microwaves are also used in wireless applications such as Bluetooth which allows short
range communication between many different types of electronic devices from mobile phone
to entertainment systems\
Electromagnetic spectrum
● Microbes can be used for cooking in a microwave oven since they cause water molecules in
the moisture of food to vibrate vigorously at the frequency of the microwaves as a result
heating occurs inside the food which cooks itself
In conclusion Radio waves and microwaves are two important types of electromagnetic waves that
have revolutionized the way we live and communicate. Thanks for your attentionwaves that
have revolutionized the way we live and communicate.
