Instructions:

1. Choose a Poster: Select a World War II propaganda poster (either Axis or Allied). You
can search online or choose one provided by your teacher. Make sure the poster is clear and
has visible text or slogans.

2. Analyze the Poster: Answer the following questions based on your selected poster:

o Who is the target audience?

Mainly the target audience would be soldiers, who were in the battlefield

(E.g., soldiers, civilians, women, factory workers)

o What message does the poster convey?

(Does it encourage people to join the army, save resources, or fear the enemy?)

o What techniques are used?

(Look for symbolism, colors, emotions, use of fear, or patriotism)

o How effective do you think this poster was during the war?

(Reflect on how it might have influenced people at the time.)

3. Share Your Thoughts: Write a short paragraph (150 words) summarizing your analysis,
focusing on how propaganda can influence public opinion during wartime.
