Teacher’s Guide
This escape room game has an open structure (students can choose where to go, what to investigate), but
this guide will help you if you get stuck. It’s also a great reference if you need to give a student a hint.

In the following pages you’ll find answers, notes from key scenes and analysis from the photos that explain
the mystery of the missing candy… Don’t read if you want to figure it out yourself!

Boy in the woods
The phone messages and backpack items combined
with a conversation with an angry girlfriend (Helena) is
enough to figure out this boy’s name: Billy
When you guess his name, he gives you a photo of
SUZY’S HOUSE. (See the next page)
Lost Items
These items belong to Bianca who has a nut allergy. The
injector, half-eaten bar and abandoned items suggest that
she had to rush to hospital. When you correctly guess this
location, they are taken to a scene with Bianca. Bianca
gives you a photo of Vinny’s House to help your
investigation (see below).
Vinny’s House Photo
1. CLUE - Younger brother
Patrick’s being bullied by
Imps. They ask him to steal
the candy for them. Note
1 the timestamp shows this
is the earliest photo, so it
reveals how it all started.
